One of most notable middle aged people heavy metal bands. Though I prefer U2 over the chain saw sound of Metallica. Music and great musicians stand the test of time. Example, Eric Clapton, go to one of his concerts and you will see ages from teens to retired aged people. U2 being very political have a messge for all ages. Especially the youth, that no matter they want to be rebellious against adults and authority, though U2 presents a clearer structured political message. Rush on the other hand, also provided political messages, Just listen to the song "Trees" it was a song defiant against socialism and communism that was creeping in to Canadians Lifestyles. Last Live Aid was in Edinburgh and Bob Geldorf asked EVERYBODY to come Edinburgh and so influence the leaders of different countries. Poor Edinburgh! And no result:) Bono-he seems sort of naive in hes interviews (we must save the world and president Bush must do this and that). Isnt he in some sort of christian sect?
