Bassuk, $252 not ŁŁŁ's, its ok i have plenty of money, its just i work with principles, i read the same flights (albeit a couple of years ago) were $50 each way ish... so just want to support the airline with the best deal... I have now booked and will be flying from local airport (plymouth) a couple of miles from me, to Gatwick then direct to Kiev, then domestic to DNK where my friend will pick me up by taxi... superb, no trains, or coaches... this beats austrian from Heathrow to DNK via Vienna by a long shot.

bigted, A couple of years ago perhaps $80 (ish) one way but don't forget that over recent months the price of fuel has close on doubled and aircraft guzzle quite a lot of it. I think my cheapest ever ticket was $37 Zaporozhye to Kiev some 3.5 years ago but the flight was literally empty and I bought that ticket locally in Ukraine. Ah ..... Roborough International Airport, I know it well having worked there for 3 years once, of a summer it would be evening cricket, airline vs firemen, out on the airfield, if we hit the ball across the runway it was a '4' and occasionally the air traffic controller would need to shout at us if an aircraft was coming.

One of those little cessna? light aircraft took a couple of tiles off of the roof of the end house top of Southway drive a few weeks ago... apparently someone left their landing light on!!! yeh i have lived for years up and around the airport - developing houses at derriford, widewell, woolwell and glenholt, KC, did you work their when it was Brymon???

Yes, good link, but search ended up KBP to DNK return for 1029hrv which is what? currently bout Ł115 by my reckoning, so marginally cheaper, again in my head $252 equates to around Ł132ish. typical as i booked them earlier this evening...:)

Cop..last year flew Kiev-Simferopol for $23usd(taxes)on aerosvit. At times they have sale prices. Right now can fly kiev-odessa(one ways) for around $60usd( i booked October). Checked other cities in ukraine but no other sale prices.
