Beemer is the language bar on your desk top that says EN (english). If so you have to have the application open and active you want to type in then when you (step 1) click on the bar and it drops down Ru (Russian) and you click on it then the bar title will change to RU (russian) If it still says EN(english) repeat step 1 until RU (russian) is active in the window you are typing. снIданок обед Вечея Pronounced Snidanok obid Vecheya. I do not know the first word. The second means lunch. And I think the third is evening but it could be a "town assembly in medieval Russia" the root words are both close and I am not familiar with the suffixes. I am sure the ladies could tell you what the full name is.

Land....yes yes yes....still can't work. I can type russian on other sites just this one starts russian and ends up jiberish...just like your previous post. For as long as I can remember anyone trying to type russian here ends up with jiberish. You can type in using english sounds for russian letters like.... spasiba or cpaciba

I can read my previous post ok. Try your character encoding. I am on Mozilla Firefox but should not make a difference. Click your view tab on top hover over character encoding that will give you a drop box with some encodings in it if the right one is not there hover over more encodings and then east european and then select Cyrillic (windows-1251). To read emails I have to switch depending on the source so I try each cyrillic encoding until I can read it.

Huh?????? Sorry Land, I am doomed, I'm not very computer literate. I have no problems on my e-mails, other sites like this one or my wordperfect with cyrillic......only here Do you know why your post at top had some of that 'jiberish'? Thanks anyway!!

I found a photo of the Saharazad restaurant, Belly Dancers were fine too... No bellies panching out either... The caption states: Restaurant Shaharazad is located in the Globe shopping center at independence square in Kiev Ukraine.
