I've been watching this (your) nonsense for a while now and I feel t8ime to speak up, particularly after 24 hours ago when you posted on 10 seperate threads merely to attack one sole individual.
How many times have you criticized me for attacking and, in your opinion, driving people away from this forum, well try taking a look in the mirror next time before criticizing others!
So what's this (your) nonsense about in this thread, that Julian35 is Julias Ceasar reincarnated, OK, let us all agree with you, Julian35 is really Julias Ceasar ..... now try getting a life for yourself please RB.
"Look at it closely, Beemer. Did I say it was Roman?"
"Anyone who has the name Julian should be suspect. The name is Roman in origing as in Julius Caesar"
Can YOU look closer RB....."The name is Roman"........
your words not mine!!!!!!!!
what are you blind in one eye and can't see out of the other???
Question RB, what language did the romans speak??? (Hint,it wasn't roman)
I believe it was Shakespeare who originated the words "Et tu Brute?"
Julius Ceasar was indeed assasinated by more than one a la firing squad method. Meaning... of the memebers of a firing squad one will have an empty bullet chamber so that none can be accussed of the fatal shot. And all fire in unison to pevent disruption by one person...who may hesitate...and again so that none can be accussed of the fatal shot.
Julius Ceasar was killed this way but it was Brutus who was identified as the instigator...although this is debatable...since he was one of Ceasar's closest friends.
Shakespeare used the betrayal by Brutus as a device to hieghten the drama.
Is this anything to do with marrying fsu women?
Just my small piece of historical trivia
Before anyone gets into a tizzy, he admitted nothing except bashing me. What I did was to prevent that. As for the name, he did ask me to explain my name. Perhaps I should have asked him to explain his, but I could think of no other conclusion.
Aww Beemer, you silly, don't you know? Romanian of course, and a globetrotter of your calibre should know that! And, it was when they turned to Greek that they died out - and that's then MY "small piece of historical trivia" ;-)
Kirk, pls explain how these firing squads with blanks worked in that era? Knives, spears, lances, swords, bow & arrow, all this hardly lends itself for 'blanks' - and, you DO agree with me that gunpowder had not been invented then don't you?
Even Nobel did not exist then! But let's not start talking Scandinavian here, it'll all be Latin to you, I'm sure you'll draw a blank.
I don't visit too often here anymore. I tell you this because you may not have noticed, however, what I notice is that your nick coincides with utter rubbish displayed on my screen when I logon here. For some inexplicable reason I get the impression that you have some sort of inferiority complex which you try to hide in posts, here of all places. Very strange, weird actually, as some will deduce that you carry some revenge as a result of your failures - and I'm one of them.
Regarding the fact that, above, you 'grant' Julius the privilege to 'explain his name here' - has it ever occurred to you that no-one besides the moderators grant anyone anything here?
Get a life or get laid, whatever suits you best, but refrain from making yourself a public idiot here is my advice.
Jeez, what would I do without you thunder????
Just forgot about the entire country of Romans moving from their land to a new country and calling it Romania.....and just in time for the italians to come and settle in the new land....let's see, what shall they call it.....hmmm....how about Italy? Just can't remember what year that was?????
Actually, it did strike me funny when i read Kirk's post about JC being shot dead. I was under the impression he was stabbed in the back with a knife/ves......hmmmm......maybe that is where the term 'backstabber' came from????
ASs for 'rampant', you hit the nail on the head, I know for a fact that Julian kept his cool for as long as he could before he exploded, can't say that I blame him........and it NOTHING to do with 'obitz'.
I'm still here and I take nothing back. I gave Julian nothing except I will not go after him he explains his name. What failures do you speak of except the ones you imagined? I am here to learn and to share my experiences just like everyone else.
I do not force my ideas on anyone except people here should be allowed to tell their story without being bashed. This what you call rampage is no different. How would you like it if on each of your posts, you were treated as if nothing you said made sense? And, during his bashings, he displayed the same antics he was accusing me of? Now, you will come back and say none of what I said don't make sense. Give me specifics and I will admit them, if they don't make sense, including this what you call rampage. I already explained about his name. Whatever happened, I'm glad I got him off my back.
If everything he threw at me is because of something else, then he should have spoken up about that. Beemer, since you brought it up, why don't you tell me what he was really angry about? He said he didn't remember. Speaking about Orbitz or anything else that I said was the wrong thing to do. No matter how many time he told me that didn't make sense, he didn't make sense. All I was trying to do was trying to help him.
You guys got it all wrong. It wasn't the knives or the bullets that killed Julius Caesar. He was too tough for that. Marcus Cicero had to throw a granade at him. That's what killed him.
I wonder if I should just stay out of this... I never offered a "truce" to anyone on the forum. I just thought it ridiculous to continue in something that was meaningless and didn't make sense. Yet, it has become very apparent to me that it was not me at all. Thanks for confirming to me that I was by no means out of line. But as I said previously... never mind. Let the rants continue. Unless it is a study on human nature by a very brilliant man or woman, I think a certain person should take some time off from reading, posting and feeling that others are out to get him/her. Are you being funded by USC to study the minds of men in a socialogic study of the hormonal effects of frustrated men as they share thoughts and ideas on a dating site? Or actually the more challenging issue of men who decided to attempt to find a woman from another part of the world? Is this your doctoral thesis? Oh well. I'll just have another beer as you continue to collect data for your study. Because if you think anyone believes that a real person can spew the crap you spew then you should reconsider your field of study. But still it makes a good report on men in general. What it takes to piss them off, how much b.s. they can put up with or how long before someone realizes that it is all a charade? Nice work Dick Tracey.
I chose Julian because I never had a father. John Lennon was my idol. And I felt him a father figure to me. So as he named his son Julian, I chose to take Julian as the name I would use.
And while I caved in and responded. What the hell were you doing riding on a train with no shoes? No wonder a stranger would say something to you. Sorry to everyone. Now once again there will be a shit load of posts everywhere responding to this. My apologies to the moderators.
I left my gf in Simferopol and took the train to Kiev myself. There were three of us that partied in the train. We did not know each other before that. I bought dried fish at one of them's suggestion and the other brought out some home made wine. I had my shoes off for some the 14 hour train ride.
The guy who brought the wine offered me a cigarette. I went to the smoking compartment without putting my shoes on. I inhaled, but did not allow the smoke to go through my nose. When I got back, the other guy asked me if I smoked. I told him I didn't. He got on my case not just for smoking but also walking without shoes. I did have socks on.
Julian, I once said that I do not know why you were against me. I still don't know. I do not mind if you want a peaceful and intelligent discussion on that. I am on this forum a lot because, right now, some of my work requires time on the computer. I am self employed and I go to the forum at times to take a break.
Yet, as I said before, you and I are on different planes. What I write seems to piss you off. Now I see that it's probably the stories I tell that piss you off. I tell them not to provoke anyone intentionally. Others have posts that do. I can be one that do as you know, but I usually don't. When someone writes a story I don't like, I simply don't read them. Why don't you do the same to my posts if they piss you off? I only responded to one of your questions above because the others do not make sense to me. Yet, if I post something like that, you would certainly get pissed off.
Before I first went to Ukraine, I just wondered how they live in detail. I wanted to read as much as I could. I tell these stories because someone else might want to know, not to piss them off. I told that story because I thought it was fascinating to me that I connected with two strangers from Ukraine. One of them knew almost no English. The dried fish we ate was good, but it was not cooked. It was not something you would buy at the store here. I can continually write about that train trip if anyone asked about the details. Yet, I would not if noone responded or if I pissed anyone off.
point is RB you do not explan things until someone wonders .... huh? WTF is he talking about? and still you say things that are of no relevence to the topic. and I am not telling you - as I am not the king - what you can or cannot say. I am only a centurion. and as such I will say something so the king can make the decision. I did however enjoy the remarks about Julius Ceasar. And not necessarily from you. alThough your remarks fit your mindset in thaT ou y had to remark toltly unobjective or truthfulful ill inpoot. I am looooosing mybatttteries and i thinkk iam loosing my bttterieieieis i am startinnninnning to gfaaaaadeeee. faddddde i am loooosing my inpt to the forum i am looooooosing my imnnnpiyut to the foootrum ..i wwwunnutnt to toot continnuuuueueoeoe butut b i am ogokj goi ng nowowwnw
You are the only one that has ever called me on it. Yet, I saw that the ones you called me on fit the topic. I do read what the topic is about, but while reading the last post, I respond with what's on my mind, usually to the one who posted last. It is usually on the topic, but sometimes not, I do admit. Again there are others that do it, not just me.
Now you did it. There was something I wanted to share about Julius Caesar. He won many wars in spite of being heavily outnumbered. He won the war in Alexandria against 20,000 soldiers. He had only 4,000 soldiers. He won the war against Pompey. He was also outnumbered there by a margin of about five to one. In fact, when Caesar's forces reached Pompey's camp, Pompey was celebrating his "victory" against Caesar.
One of the tactics Julius Caesar used was to have a soldier blow a whistle periodically. When the whistle blew, the soldiers at the front line went to the rear leaving fresh fighting soldiers up front.
LUUUURVE your spelling, "ASs...".
The year? It was the year of the Lemmings, when they migrated south and fell off the Alps into the northern part of, what is now indeed called, Italy. Of course not all were lucky to survive. Most fell from astonishing height and fell to their death, and in remembrance their traditional staple is called 'Pizza'.
Those who doubt all this I advise to look it up in Wickedpedia, the same source Kirkie got his info from regarding ol' Julius' death.
