They PREFER a guy with more money. Hell, ANY woman (all other things being equal) would rather have a guy with more money compared to less. Eating out a western style establishments can become expensive, if she wants to eat at home then she goes home to mother or she finds a Ukrainian man, they look for dining out and doing things that would otherwise be unaffordable on the Ukrainian economy when they 'date' a westerner. By the way, their idea of home cooking is LOTS of vegetables and bugger all meat or fish or whatever. That is how they have been brought up, go to your local supermarket and buy a bag of frozen mixed vegetables, take it home, throw it in a saucepan, bring it to the boil, and serve. Welcome to Ukraine ..... enjoy your meal :) You need to allow, for 2 people, circa USD100 an evening for dining and drinking, and then there are daytime activities, sightseeing, taxi's, you WILL NEED TO buy her some presents and cosmetic items cost circa USD50 per item at their prices. And then, it is customary for a lady to perhaps invite a friend along for dinner, you'll have the company of 2 ladies at the table, so that puts the price up to circa USD150 per evening. So a UAH is like what would be called a Ukrainian dollar while a Greivna is 100 kopecks.
