Where are you from anyway Danny you dont sound like the normal Westerner here by your comments use of English etc
And I agree with Martin getting on with the inlaws in obviously very important for any realtionship obviously because
its a bonus for the girl to know they accept you etc and can make it harder for you if they dont.
Actually the drink thing of sort of a bit of humour! I did plenty of drinking in the Ukraine but never over drank just merry. When I met the mother in law I ordered tea the same as her most of the time I dont drink during the day. And she assumed I suppose that I didnt drink netheir me nor my girl changed her ideas on this! But all my friends are going next time so there will be plenty done lol and yes I gave her money when she came back from Egypt but this was because she had over spent as most people do and hadnt enough to cover some bills as she is paid monthly it was 150 dollars which she actually gave back to me since! And I was in the Ukraine for a week and a half where I was treated like a king ie my taxi from train stration was paid for before hand also there was a guide provided who showed me all over the good sites which also I didnt pay for. There was a car as well when we left the city which also I didnt pay for. Every morning we headed off somewhere very nice and then spent the evenings out except for one night when she had exams the next morning! I also met some of her friends as she had to drop some stuff into work one day and I was introduced etc.
We have been in contact since july last year! Im glad you are having a good time in Moscow from the sound of it I think id prefer the Ukraine though!
And the stuff sent over by her mother was very nice thought you seem to be a person with alot of anger etc that you would come down on that. The fact you are with someone and feel the need to just come here and write abusive messages here for people could be a indication that you are unhappy yourself ? and that you have the time to go over over messages weeks old too much time on your hands? Its nice to be nice dude! Have a good day!
You are probably a kewl guy but try and be nice haha
the bribe thing is real, at least in Ukraine...I rented a car in Simferopol and was on my way to Sevastopol...I was doing 90 something and was not paying attention...they radared me at 96 in a 50 zone (km that is)...it was all this talk, like Ha 'my name', this is bad, but we can solve it!! I don't speak Russian but understand a lot. They didn't speak English or French or whatever...but they wanted 500 USD or I would be in biiig trouble cause 96 in 50 zone, blabla...I called my girl and passed the phone to them...left the place after paying 35 grivna...true story...when they smell a foreigner, they are after USD...they are even so stupid they don't realise USD means sh*t these days and the Euro is much stronger and worth more...
