I was in a strange environment and in a new situation and so I kind of went with the flow. All in all I had a good fun time and, hell, I may even see her again - at an average £100 a day on designer clothes I consider it quite cheap for a fun travelling-partner/guide-with-benefits, and I can relax and enjoy it knowing thats all its going to be. Still thats not what I'm looking for ultimately. Actually I doubt she would fool anyone who reads this forum because she fits the pro-dater profile so perfectly: in her 20's, no kids, no steady job indeed has never had one since graduating, yet somehow manages to have thousands of pounds worth of designer clothes and makeup (way beyond the norman "one expensive outfit" which they all seem to have), and has travelled to several west european countries that would require visa sponsorship. Trouble is there arnt really any warning signs in her profile and she comes accross as very serious in her correspondence. The pattern I have noticed though is that the two pro-daters that I have met have had a particular style of drawing you in emotionaly but in a quite subtle way. The sort of thing I mean is telling you about something they did and how they just felt the need to share it with you, or that they were just doing -whatever- and they thought of you and wished you were there to share it with them. Obviously no scammer would expect to get away with any sort of "i love you" bollocks in this day and age and they are adapting thier aproach to be much more subtle. Another common theme is how they imagine how "loving and caring" you are based lets face it on pretty scant information. The easiest thing to do would be to accidentally send copies of her emails to all her boyfriends to each other, including yourself. Make it look like a virus or worm attack. Then you can send a reply with innocent outrage to all informing them that you have been intimately involved with this woman and asking if anyone else has gotten a STD from her. I think they might take that seriously, especially if you have photos and emails from her to back up your story. devilmaycare Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 5/23/2008 5:11:33 PM   UPDATE: OK I was keeping an eye on her activity and all of a sudden her antipodian suitor (lets call him "punter A") books a holiday for them both at a cost in excess of $15,000 !!. So I realise I have to act soon. So I arrange a tactical email foward to one of her other regular boyfriends ("punter B") in the hope that punter B will make contact with punter A and compare notes. Sure enough punter B contacts punter A and punter A sends outraged email to scammer including a copy of punter A's conclusion that she is a greedy scammer detailing how he parted with several thousands of dollars in shopping alone. So far so good. However: after some more time has elapsed punter A sends another message saying how he still loves her and doesnt care how many men she has been dating... well as they say you can lead a horse to water ... jetmba. End result is same. Some guys just do not think. Why try to help someone when they cannot help themselves. Some people deserve what they get and your 'punter A' is prime example. The thing is this woman is not just a relatively harmless pro dater (as I originally thought), somone after a few nice holidays and clothes, were talking about a full blown extortionist - I've now found out that her "relationship" to punter B dates back some 6 months, that he has been regularly sending her money, even paying her rent - hence he was none too pleased to find out that she is jetting off for weeks at a time with other men. colin Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 5/24/2008 8:57:48 AM   danny you are headerball lol! I go over in a month and we both travel to Kiev her new passport is currently being issued in my name and we go to the embassy there and 10 days later back here together. My best friend is going with me and her best friend too and they will spend time together with us so will be great fun. Currently shes workins 10 hour shifts each day with just sunday off I told her look Ill support you no need to back there but shed have none of it I left her some money before i went as well and she refused to take it. Im just hoping it all works out over here and she settles in but it would be great if our best friends get together pernamently too would be alot easier.Id say its about 99 percent gonna happen! My friends and family have all said they will help to make it work here for her which made me very happy...
