I love your city juengasa....anyone that goes to barcelona I recommend to visit Valencia. I knew a couple girls that live on one of islands off the coast.
Kirk...so how are the swiss women??
A friend of mine live north of Milan, he likes to go up cross border and party at a couple swiss establishments.....even found a russian girl working there....aren't they everywhere???
So are you backing out of the FSU thing? It has crossed my mind a couple times....
Beem... Cafe Zurich in Plaza Cataluyna...Barcelona.
I'm off there again tommorow for another weekend.
God help me if Ryanair ever go bust.
I'm winding down for a number of reasons. I have a few observations about the differences between dating fsu women and European women. I'll share them with the good folks here whenever I have time to write them all down.
I keep thinking about having one last ditched attempt at getting one woman in particular to come and live in UK. Sha came before but the pull of her life in Ukraine was too great.
Things have changed for her and for the first time since I've known her she is getting down on her country and thinking that perhaps her choices in life are dwindling.
Either that or she senses my withdrawal from the relationship we have and is trying to pull me back.
In any case it was 14° on saturday night in Barca (can't be bad) and I didn't dare ask the temp in Ukraine.
I'll add my bit too - glorious summer's day here in Auckland (27 degrees - almost too hot!), and even now (12.30 am) it's still 18 degrees. However, I was talking to a friend in Siberia a couple of hours ago, and it's -19 and snowing. They're REALLY looking forward to Monday, when they expect -31!!
Kirk...hard to figure some girls. I do think that if a girl really loves a guy, the pull of the country is not strong. In fact, when I talk with girls about how they feel about leaving their country one day....the answer I look for is.....only if I find the right man!!!!
How is that saying....love conquers all!!!
> That's right Pete....it is only 76 today at the beach...my drink was not very cold....only half
> the normal amount of women in bikinis.....what else could possibly go wrong????
For conversion factor Bow and metric system people 6F is -14.4C.
To change measurment is simple..... Fahr to Cel.....subtract 32 and divide by 1.8....opposite going other way....Cel to Fahr....multiply by 1.8 and add 32.
What is a little harder Km to Miles...multiply .6214 or Miles to Km....multiply 1.61.
Hard to learn and remember such things when writing a girl. Don't know how many times I had to explain miles or time or weight to girl because she didn't understand. Of course, I along with many other men have quickly adjusted to weight(kg) of a girl.....around ~50kg is just FINE!!!

lol! yep... i quickly worked out that one too! (olya also agrees that 50kg is the best weight for a girl!) :-)
I think the difference in many cases is max vs min temp. Here in the UK we've had plenty of -15 or -20 minimums (at death o'clock at night). From what I've heard, there are days when this is as high as it gets in Kyiv (Pete, any confirmation?)
I'm going there in about a month. Any ideas on indoor places to go? ("bedroom" is a given, for all the would-be smart-arses) :)
Don't know if it's of help to you at all, but I live just 360km to the West (4.5hrs by bus) of Kiev and I think the weather is pretty much the same here as there. Last night in Rivne it was minus 14, today minus 12, on Sunday weather is predicted to be minus 23 overnight. Snowfall everyday for the past 2 weeks.
Trains & buses in and out of Kiev running as normal, no leaves on the railway tracks disrupting the entire network (good old Blighty, bless it )
Obviously, Ukraine is having a genuine cold snap. And this is not unusual winter weather there, historically. But in recent years, winters have tended to be rather milder, so ... who knows what you can expect? I was in Kyiv in late February of 08 and early February of 09, really quite moderate both times (highs in the 0-10C range).
I don't do bars and discos myself, but they must be popular places in the cold weather. There are innumerable coffee shops in the center, some of them pretty decent. Last winter, I went with a young lady to the opera, and small art museum.
What would truly be my style -- but I haven't yet made the trip -- is an indoor go-kart track (not very far north from Kyiv). I've seen some photos, it looks like a good facility. I enjoy driving like a Russian :)
