you americans really admire your self don’t you. do you really think you are gods gift to the russian woman deanis? and do you know how ridicules you sound ;-) long live the civilization of Europe and UK!
Couldn’t stay out from this one:)
I agree tentons! The americans are way too much. Bragging about 1200 sq foot apartment and zero balanced credit cards. How attractive
don’t upfront them tentons. now they going to wave their god blessed flag in this forum "smile"
Yes people. Dollar man looking for poor girls abroad. Ones can’t help wondering what kind of males we’re talking about. Read this forum and it comes more clearly. It could just as well been regular sex tourists.
Dont make it sound like the Russian ladies are simple prostitutes.
The Russian ladies make their own choices in this matter.
Why don’t let the Americans think they rescue the world. They are deeply in need to show of and seriously think the world is watching them as something great. Who cares?
I am not in it to be a sex tourist, I was simply making a point. I am looking for a Russian wife because I simply do not like american girls, our society has taken a drastic downturn, and I believe I can offer somethin great to someone out there, and no, it is not a free pass to America!
Ohhhhh its loney here at the top! Nobody loves you..... Our Euro friends still can't accept the fact that their child has outgrown them and turned out to be the greatest county in the world. Oh and we dont think we rescue the world. We know we do! Maybe we should have just let the Germans kick your asses back in the 1940's
Ooops! I'm waving my flag arent I? If it were up to me I would pull out every troop we have abroad and bring them back home and secure our own borders. If the rest of the world doesn't give a shit, then why should we?
I am with you Dean! I do not agreee with a lot of things my country does, I do not agree with the war in Iraq at all, but most of our country's deficit comes from us sending money, and aid to other countries. For people who do not understand, We spend a lot of money to aid a lot of the world. i, for one, an glad to be an American, and I do not appreciate the sterotypes. Not all Americans are bad people, I think that most are good. It is the actions of a select few that tarnish the image. Let's not start World War 3 here, Just accept that we are the richest, most powerful country in the world. That is not boasting, that is fact.
I read back on this thread and I understand why the Euro gang lashed out at me. Everything I wrote in this thread was what I was told by my Ukrainian/Russian friends, guides, and translators. I didn't make this stuff up just to make American men seem better than the rest of the world.
It is a fact that the United States of America is the most envied and/or hated nation on earth yet the most admired nation as well. All other nations, no exceptions, have tried more or less to model their political and economic systems after ours. American lifestyle has penetrated the most unlikely places. I admire European history and the cultural diversity of Europe. I do believe that Europeans have more balanced lifestyle than Americans, they work to live, they don't live to work and use money as a means of pursuit of happiness not only as a means of consumerism. American system is not perfect by any means. People live in a society that measures things in terms of monetary value. It is very important in America to have good credit and a house and finacial worth because there are limited government funds to support citizens in a bad day. The opposite is true in Europe where taxes are much higher but government provides social wellfare as part of a reallocation of wealth in the society. When government guarantees housing loans to people, the people don't care that much about maintaining the best credit. When government protects employment by means of the legal system and provides years of unepmloyment benefits and free medical and pension funds in the unlikely event people get fired, people don't care to save for a bad day. When government enforces minimum work hours for most workers to 37 hours a week and enforces 7 weeks of vacation for everyone (with salaries being lower than in the US), people care about quality of life with less money and tailor their lifestyle accordingly. The result is huge structural government budget deficits, flat domestic product, lack of capital investment and reliance on exports. The truth is that the European system doesn't work in a global economy and this causes frustration to our European folks who feel the pressure in their everyday lives. And who is to blame? America with its capitalism and globalization. Capitalism is linked to human nature, that is desire for more, and is inevitable. Globalization is also inevitable in the information and communication era that we live. The country that mastered capitalism best and realized the meaning of globalization first, that is America, is the most successful country on earth. Europe needs to blame itself for its problems not America.
I think we must be able to share criticism like friends and with out some blood bath of offending words. It is true that many countries and people in Europe lost some faith and trusts in the USA administration after USA decided not to care about UN’s regulation in the matter of Iraq. But not all countries and not all people agree with that criticism. Personally I think it was about time someone showed we’re fed up with dictators and terrorism. Where I live (Sweden) we have to deal with many refugees from the Middle East and that is not a joke. Our society suffers a lot because of these people and their culture and religion.
To my American friends I want to say that please don’t think everyone in Europe is like some jerks in this forum. I have many experiences about people from different countries because I live in a place rich with tourism. All the Americans I have met are really very nice and humble and we are always happy to see them. Unfortunately I can’t say the same thing about many visitors from the rest of Europe. For an example people here have a way of speaking; if the Germans don’t invade the world with soldiers than they do it with tourists. Not the most popular visitors around here because of bad manners and without respect. When I was on Ibiza I saw the most disgusting behaviour I’ve ever seen. Most of the tourists visit Ibiza is from England. I learnt when I was in Spain that the people there don’t like people at all. My point is the things described against Americans in this forum more belongs to some of the countries in Europe.
You can learn a lot from tourists, where I live it is one of the most tourist-rich areas of USA (the corridor between Orlando and Miami). Now, most of the foriegn people I meet in Orlando, at Disney, are relativly nice people. I don't know if being at Disney has to do with anything, but people who visit there are generally nice. Now, tourists in Miami are a different story. Especially the Germans. A few years ago, when some German tourists were shot in Miami, many people here were glad. There was a big hting about how Germans were not coming to Miami anymore, and the general concensus was "Good". The British, Germans, and also the French have attitude in Miami. They are demanding at restaurants, loud conversationilists, dangerous drivers, and walk around like they own the place. I do not mean to falme anyone here, but that is a truthful observation. I watched a show called "The Practice" last night, and the show is a legal drama. Last nights episode was about a Romanian girl, 12 years ld, on vacation in America, and wanted political asylum to live in the USA because her parents were forcing her into marraige in Romania. When the judge ruled, in his statment, he said "Even though the USA is hated around the world, this is still the destination of choice for nationals of just about every country in the world". You hate us so much, don't come!
Deanis.......just wanna pick up on a few points in your post.
1:Rampant alcohol and drug abuse amongst Russian and Ukrainian men
True there are cases of drug and alcohol abuse.......just the same as there are in many countries, but certainly not rampant, and I speak from experience of actually being there several times.
2: Their men make terrible husbands
How can you make such a sweeping statement?Divorce and abandoned wives flourish in the west too you know!!!
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion ...after all that is what a forum is for,but consider those who geniunely seek to expand their knowledge of the FSU,such negativity does not help anyone.
On a lighter note,I am sure American men are good lovers, but if you read your own words YOU tell us that there are far more women than men in the FSU........so the odds favour being outnumbered.
Sorry if I dented the ego.
As I already stated in this thread. Everything I wrote about was what I was told by Russian/Ukrainian translators, guides and dates that I met and spoke to personally. Thier complaints were all the same. So, I took it as an accurate sample of what the dating pool is like for these ladies. Your experience disagrees with that and that is fine. Also, the drug and Alcohol use is a known statistical fact among FSU men. Because of this the mortality rate for FSU is higher than anywhere else in the World. Life expectancy for an FSU male is now at 55.
I met a girl from Kharkiv once and she tried to scam me for alot of money. She was cute, but really wasn't smart enough to con me out of more money. I really went to see Kiev, and find out if she was for real or not-mission accomplished.
I am an American and I have to agree the Americans are arrogant and superficial. But all American are the same. One thing that I have realize is that many people from other country are coming to the US and are starting to become arrogant and superficial like the Americans. And leaving behind there morals.
