I'm sure this is true in any part of the world, but because life is (in general) more difficult in russia, and (in my observation) people tend to be very suspicious, I think this problem of insecurity may well be magnified for women over 30. I didn't find out until we were in marriage counseling that the ex had a couple real bad relationship in her teen years that affect her to this day. I knew she was the jealous type but I was told by many people it will go away once you are married have kids and become a family man. Well it didn't, she expected me home at a certain time and I could not visit friends or I would get questioned, as if I was meeting some girl. I am social type so anytime I would talk to a girl I was flirting. This is one thing about an FSU girl that would turn me off in an instance.
