On the other hand if you're ugly and/or an obnoxious son of a bitch then you'd have trouble attracting any lady of any race and of any country, I'm not suggesting that you are these, just explaining the scenario. But if you're particularly looking for an FSU Asian then you're most likely to find her in one of the 'stan' countries. I have only been to one of the 'stan's' and that was Uzbekistan, last there 8 years ago so I can only talk of 8 years ago. Then a reasonable salary in a country such as Ukraine would have been, I guess, $200+ per month, in Uzbekistan it was $30 per month so you might understand that the people cannot afford computers, internet etc. You're making your task difficult if you decide to go the 'stan' route but if you did you'd avoid the stampede's of guys all flocking to Ukraine, they are all in 'dog eat dog' competition with each other meanwhile you'd be toddling off all by your lonesome to one of the 'stan' countries. Largest Country in Europe not counting Russia ? And all that ? You're aware too that the latest estimates puts the ratio at 54% female ? And total estimated population at around the 47 Million mark ? And keeping this amount in mind, exactly how many foreign men do you think/estimate to be actually here in Ukraine ? As soon as I read it France sprang to mind but Greenland and Turkey are larger than Ukraine also. However, compared to the size of the USSR, where Russian etc. ladies are located, Ukraine remains tiny in comparison. Flocking, stampedes etc. OK I said it tongue in cheek however before Ukraine relaxed their visa requirements guys on forums such as this discussed all different FSU countries, their travels to them etc. Soon after the visa relaxation, I noticed it had started, such forums discussions became 90% talk of Ukraine and perhaps only 10% the rest of FSU, just go through this forum alone to verify, so much of the talk is "Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine" and Ukraine women have this well figured and are using guys for their shopping trips etc. Where do you think the commonly used expressions "Russian" ladies, mail order brides, whatever, came from, because before Ukraine relaxed their visa requirements the majority of guys travelled to Russia as would figure bearing in mind it's the largest country! Of course it's true that the FSU is mammoth in size, and any number of countries within it could contain a Western guys possible future wife, not just Ukraine. I have not been to any other FSU countries [yet] but I understand how vast it is, and that gorgeous, wonderful women are spread throughout. Having said all of that, I can certainly understand why Ukraine seems to have become more and more guys focus country, simply because of the whole “don't need a Visa for 3mths” thing, it's what tipped it for me when I began my “journey” back in 2007, who wants to faff around with Visa applications, and fees, if it can be avoided ?! Parting ways with you on the size issue thing though, it's Ukraine [not including Russia] I knew it already but, just searched good old Google before I wrote this and, site after site, information after information puts Ukraine clearly as the largest country in Europe. This search engine has been developed by Google specially for Western Governments, it throws up information that is favourable to the West and it's political agendas, therefore doing a simple search on this Google for “The largest country in Europe” could never reveal, correctly, that Ukraine is the largest country, just not in the interests of the West now is it.? ! Questions would be asked, how can the citizens of the largest country in Europe, and such an important country in terms of Gas transit and trade, be so restricted, and in many cases denied, travel to other countries by Western Governments. ! Better for the West to have a special Google search engine that states Greenland, Turkey, France or some other country as the largest in Europe when such a search is made, their citizens move freely throughout the West, embarrassing questions avoided. That gives them an 8% advantage (54-46%) over males. Assuming everyone who could in Ukraine found their male counterparts, that would give 3,760,000 females without partners. It was once posted here that even though it is true that the numbers are that staggering, the females ages 30 or below actually outnumber the males. Of course that places females over 30 at a greater disadvantage. This would also place a great number of scammers in the websites because most of the women there are under 30. Do you believe this is true? I don't. By the way, it was me that said I will be in Ukraine in a month or so earlier this month. That was before I talked it over thoroughly with my gf. It is rather cold in Ukraine right now. I have been in Ukraine three times, all in winter. Therefore, we are waiting until it warms up a bit, so we can have more activity and I can see more of the greenery. Some of these girls have a mix of physical characteristics that are a little hit or miss. When they hit they are very easy on the eye. I’d question the integrity of a man who considers attraction towards Asians to be a “fetish” I get the feeling he’d pretty soon just follow his urge to the next amusement. Most of the original post smacks of sex tourism. Meaning the further east, the poorer the circumstances. Less likely to scam and less likely to be choosey. After rereading what I originally wrote, I think I could had chosen better words. Instead of "fetish", I could have just said that some white guys prefer asians girl. I know plenty that do which makes it that much more difficult for me. I just wanted to know on people's opinion if asians girls (in physical appearance) are less sought after in FSU. Don't we all want the girls to be less choosey and less likely to scam? I certainty do. After reading about the many horror stories here, I hope to learn from other people's mistake as well as the positives they achieve. I'll admit I don't consider myself a good looking bloke, but the possibility of finding a better life partner in both beauty and character than I could otherwise in my country is too tempting. I think that is why many of us are here. For me, women that can speak Russian and other foreign languages like Chinese, Korean, etc opens up more possibilities as their children inherit the language. What was that, just last year? :-) Can't speak for everyone but yes, visa is a hassle and getting constantly asked to see my papers led to me not bothering going back to russia. Too tight? Well it is cheaper for me to get to Russia than to Ukraine!!!! Rag'n'Bull Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 2/21/2010 7:04:21 PM   beemer, I first set foot in Uzbekistan, twice, and I have the visas to prove it, thereafter I set foot in Ukraine and I have multiple Ukraine visas to prove that also, yes we did need Ukraine visas in those days, thereafter I set foot, 3 times on business, in Latvia however Latvia was then EU so not even a stamp on the passport required, and then Russia, visa required, since then I have been back to Ukraine, , more than once, not for 'dating' reasons but that's as far as I'm prepared to discuss that particular subject. So, where have I ventured to, for FSU romance reasons, that didn't require a visa at the time I ventured there?
