Nobody here is, or was, talking about Iran or N. Korea either !
Chernobyl can be avoided as long as it remains encased in concrete ..... better just hope that they didn't skimp on the amount of cement in the mix whereas, if they did, the concrete may start to crack!
Iran and North Korea were in the news, arresting tourists. Greece was not. Russia is always in the news opposing US policy. It is only logical that Ukraine sounds a lot safer.
We are talking about my friends and family being worried about me. They are also know I am smart enough to avoid places like Chernobyl.
I can't recall years but it would have been around a similar time that a group of British aircaft spotters were arrested and charged with spying in Greece, of course a group of Brits arrested in Greece might not make the news in US but a lot of other goings on in Europe, likewise, might not make the news in US, of course Iran and N. korea make the news in US because they dare to do things the US doesn't approve of!
And so does Russia. I have not heard of the Greece incident and if it has been years, others have probably forgotten. While you and Mr Durak and others say it is perfectly safe, and I tend to believe you, the appearance say otherwise. That is why people choose Ukraine over Russia. That's what we're talking about, aren't we? (Not Greece - Russia!!!)

Ukraine finally admitted yesterday that its military shot down a Russian airliner that crashed into the Black Sea last week, killing all 78 passengers and crew.
Evhen Marchuk, the chairman of Ukraine's security council, conceded that the plane had probably been brought down by "an accidental hit from an S-200 rocket fired during exercises".
Investigators believe a missile exploded near the plane, spraying it with shrapnel. Russian and Israeli scientists found metal pellets in the victims and in the fuselage.
Vladimir Rushailo, the chairman of Russia's security council, said: "The investigation has found that the disaster resulted from a strike by a warhead from an anti-aircraft missile."
Although both Russia and Ukraine were almost certainly aware of the cause from the start, it took eight days for Ukraine to accept responsibility.
Last year four people were killed when a Ukrainian rocket hit a block of flats.
I don't remember that and I read the news all the time. I think the media here didn't report that news, if at all. That was 2001. We are talking about how visas are preventing many from choosing Russia. You had to dig up a 2001 news to prove that Ukraine is just as bad?
Even the Russians take the piss out of Ukraine for the corruption that goes on in Ukraine, whether it be a parcel delivery, an aerosol of deodorant in a suitcase at the airport, claiming one has committed an offence that one hasn't, if there's a dollar to be made out of it then the Ukrainians will be in there!
I have only a one trip experience to Russia so I personally can't speak but we don't here the same stories of corruption emerging from Russia.
And be honest RB, the relevant difference between Russia and Ukraine is a bl00dy visa application and cost!
Visa and cost is only the second most relevant. Ukraine has a lot more women to choose from. Corruption and scammers does not come into play with most before they experience it themselves.
You are seriously suggesting, that by comparison to the size and population of Russia, that a much smaller country such as Ukraine has more women, than Russia, to choose from?
I have not looked at Russian statistics, but there is a big ratio of women to men in Ukraine. I have already debated this, but let us assume I am wrong and you are right. The pretty women at that boutique are in the back room, away from view. How does one supposed to know they are there? Have you looked at the websites?
My days of looking at profiles on FSU websites are long since past but, in the old days, there was no such imbalance between Ukraine and Russia.
But Ukraine is 10 times as corrupt as Russia, 10 times smaller than Russia, just figures and not to be taken literally, anyone can set up a website from their home domicile, pay per letter blah blah blah, dropped the visa requirement 5 years back, and there are more ladies on websites from that signifiantly smaller, significantly more corrupt, country!
Understand that I'm joking when I say this RB ..... Might you call a rocket scientist to figure this one out?
You are not answering the question. Fine. It is much better to go to Russia. There are more beautiful women there. Ukraine is more corrupt. How does one determine that? Someone set up a website and saw the Ukrainian women. How does one know the Russian women are there if they do not do the same?
I have never, specifically, promoted Russia, just go on Google Earth and zoom whereas the entire FSU is in picture, you'll barely be able to spot Ukraine but that's where some 80% of guys, these days, are heading and simply because they do not need a visa.
In an ideal world the travels of guys would be evenly spread between all CIS countries, that's how it was 10 years ago, before Ukraine relaxed their visa requirement, believe it or not!
Just take a look at this page of threads on this forum, there is one thread specific to Russia, one thread specific to Moldova, but thirteen threads specific to Ukraine and the likes of Belarus, Georgia, and all the 'stan' countries etc. don't even get a mention, I can recall a forum of 10 years ago where the majority of discussion was pertinent to Russia and all the smaller CIS countries got their equivalent mentions!
Do the ladies pay to profile om Elena's? i.e does payment by ladies serve to help elinunate the 'shop window dummies' yet also serves to eliminate the 100% genuine 'village' girls who simply can't afford to profile on such a site?
My information, is that all is free for the ladies.
elenasmodels is definitely NOT free from scammers, good-time girls, etc. But I haven't learned about any other site that seems to have such a high proportion of women who, as far as one can tell, are hoping to make a good marriage. Maybe they are a little more careful about accepting profiles, and responding to complaints.
Anyway, it is an agency, not just a dating website, but without the fake letters and other cash-scraping nonsense that many agencies seem to do.
