Surely the woman is supposed to give out her passport back and receive a new one, but some girls, "lose" their passports (meaning they claim that they lost their passports, paying some small fee, and then have an old passport, though it is signed there that she is married) and a new passport as well. By the way when a woman brings the passport to ZAGS they put a stamp on the first page that the her last name (if she wishes it to be changed to her husband's last name) and the passport must be changed within 30 days. stevec1003 Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 7/9/2004 2:57:35 PM   Hello Pitchka, My wife has more than one passport with different name and birthdates. I know that the passport does not normally have the married name on it. This is NOT the concern. The concern is the ability to obtain more than one...perhaps several passports with different names and different birthdates. I have never heard of such a thing but I gi uess in Ukraine and in Russia it is a common practice if my wife with a legal name of Iolanta Borisenko and date of birth 3 June 1962 can obtain a passport with the name LANA and a completely different surname...not Borisenko which is her real name and a passport with a false birthdate which makes her much younger..in this case 3 years. She also has another where she is LANA Sgorska with a date of birth of 3 September 1965. I know of at least 3 passports she has. Seems if my wife can obtain then and she is simply an average girl I (we) must assume that any woman from Ukraine or Russia can also obtain several passports. Than is the point. Lets not cloud the waters with irrelevant details and procedures. I love my wife VERY MUCH. I am stuggling with what to do. She says she loves me and I ...for some strange reason, believe her. I am trying to work things out but I keep discovering more and more. So they did. After that, I posted my reply thinking that it was based on the real facts. Actually, it was. How could I know that the lady has 2 passports and the real story is different from what she says? Steve, you provided me with enough proves of that this lady (Lana/Iolanta) is your wife. It doesn’t really matter for us whether this marriage is pro forma or actual. We deleted the lady from our system permanently on basis of the evidences you presented to us. We’ve already returned money to those clients who wrote to us and complained about this situation. And we’ll definitely refund money to all the clients who will contact us in the future. The whole story is too complicated. You say to everybody on this forum that your wife is on about 100 sites. She says that you knew that she attends marriage agencies. And I think it’s true because she didn’t try to hide this fact (otherwise, she would be hesitant to be on so many sites). Many guys called this lady even through our company. She must be in contact with many other men. Sorry, I know it’s painful for you to hear that but only truth matters. I repeat once again – now I believe that the lady is your wife but too many facts make me think that this marriage is not serious from the lady’s side. Sorry again.
