My big boy buttercup is what I'll say to everyone, bittersweet but a good person in the cream filled center. It does not matter whether I like it there or not, I have lived in many places I did not like, some places more Phucked up than others, home simply is where I decide it is and be a man about it. But maybe I am being premature about moving to Russia, it is not set in stone yet, hell we are still not technically together yet or ever, when we see each other for the 3 weeks we will have a better idea of what is to be. Lonely, you give advice to people about Russian women that is not fair, there are other forums and dating agencies dedicated to Chinese, Philippines , Japan, so many more with men that swear that the woman there are the best woman or worst woman on Earth. Every man has his individual preferences and a lot do not have any specific preferences, like me and many others on this forum. I do not look at nationality or race when deciding to be with a woman, it does not matter to me, if she was a Mexican I'd be on a Mexican forum right now, or Zimbabwe ;) I'm still curious about those Italian African girls.... Its impossible to lump a group on any people into one stereotype, the world is just to big and diverse, how many different cultures are just in America alone!!!! You say Russian woman are all about money, my friend has worn the same tennis shoes ever since I have known her, I have seen girls of every nationality become Americanized I agree with you and others on this, my friend is married to a girl from Hungry that is the epitome of this, but after 10 years they are still strongly in love and she is a total Biotch but stuck with him during the good times and the really bad times so I respect her if not like her!!! But if you care for that person and they care for you, you just accept that change. The agency thing to me seems like a bad idea, I don't know, if a girl is looking for a relationship why not date local, what is her priority? To find love? Or to get out of her country? While she may be sincere that question will always linger in the back of my mind and eat a hole through my resolve. The girls on the agency listings are less than 1% of the population and like most affiliations fit into a common frame of mind. They all share the same goal of finding someone and to leave there country so there are bound to be a lot of similarity between them. Making a decision about leaving your home (comfort zone) to go somewhere totally new and uncertain you would probably feel a lot more secure if that person was financially stable and able to take care of you also, its a scary and brave choice these women are making and to move and be stuck in a trailer park in a foreign country with no future is intolerable, I can not blame them for this, as long as they are honest with there feelings that is there God given right whom to choose, if the man left to live in there country I am sure it would be less of a deal to them. I think your a good guy Lonely, no doubt to it, I just have a very open mind and way of thinking about the world that comes from having close friends from all over the world. I live in the South where stereotyping and racism runs rampant, even those who do not believe themselves as racist are so ingrained with it they do not know it, my parents for example do not believe blacks are as intelligent as whites and asian's are better with numbers than whites,...I know for a fact that race has nothing to do with anything, while on the other hand poverty, education, upbringing, and peer-pressure are the culprits of social disorder. My experience has been, that none were sincere about finding, marrying, and living with a foreign man. I’ve had women with boyfriends, who had children, but didn’t list them in their profiles, who changed their names in their profiles,,, and not translation variations either. Women with different birthdays on different websites,,, or even on the same website. Then of course,,, the women who were so excited to see you,,,, and then didn’t show up! If all the girls were sincere, it would still be difficult to find the right person! But when there is no chance at all,,, no matter what you do?? I don’t talk about my trips or search with anyone. Last year when reentering the U.S. from Canada, I handed my passport to the customs agent,,,, and he asked;,, What about these trips to Russia?? For some unknown reason,,, I forgot I had a trip to Russia on my current passport,,,, and answered; You mean my trips to Ukraine??? I paused for a moment,, and said;, I’m supposed to say it’s a vacation!? He grinned,,, then handed my passport back to me. I was embarrassed about my travels and would rather he think of me being a sex tourist, than someone who is looking for a wife!! For me, Ukraine is the furthest south and east that I would go. I don’t have anything against people from other countries, but this is the most personal choice two people can ever make, and the results last for generations! I don’t think our generation is quite ready yet. A 1st cousin’s,,,,, husband’s nephew, married a black girl. He is blond, but he won’t ever have any kids who are blond. Yes, I know there is a .0005 chance. I see him a few times a year in stores,,,, and people gawk! I think that is what I want to avoid the most. Here in the U.S. you can blend in with your Russian girl as long as there is not too large an age gap,,,, until she starts to speak!! Then,,, all heads turn! Some are just curious, while others are in the process of disapproving! Rumors and gossip will happen too. Someone had told my sister, that my Irina paid for some groceries with change/coins! That is nothing unusual for Eastern Europe, but here,,, it’s a crime to hold up the check-out line!! I’m sure people were pissed. Living in different places around the world will give a person a more open mind. I have only lived at home here, but I have done my share of traveling. Years ago, my home area had the normal mix of European races. Scandinavian’s to the north, Polish people to the east, Germens and a few Irish where I live and south of me, then Belgians further south. Each group settled in their own little area. Today it is a little more diverse. Mexicans now live on or near farms and orchards for work. Minorities, African, Mexican, and even Hmong live in the cities. When traveling into Green Bay (over an hour drive) for an American made pair of work shoes this spring, I saw a group of kids get off the school bus. About ten kids got off, and there was only 1 white girl?! The first thought that went thru my head was;,,, how much harassment does she get while waiting for the bus??? Until people stop noticing things like that, racism will always be around. The Hmong people are an unique group. Their home area as you know, is scattered in and around Laos. Coming here is quite the shock for them. They like to hunt, and will frequently be hunting on private land. There aren’t many problems until our regular hunting seasons start. Then, locals will try to chase them off their property. Where they are from,,, if men carrying guns are shouting at you,,, you shoot them! About five years ago, 2 locals were killed and 4 or 5 others were wounded. For about two months now,, AOB has been running a promotion, where a guy can open one intro letter free each day. In that time, I only found 5 letters that I thought/hoped would be worthwhile. In 4 of those letters, the girls wrote all of the countries they have been to (4 to 10 each),,, and a few that they want to visit with their beloved!!!! I wonder if they had a different beloved for each trip??? If your goal is to find a wife,,, then does anyone want a woman who is capable/willing of prostituting herself for a free vacation????? NOT ME!!! A woman who is willing to shack up with a man she just met, goes onto the top of my list, of women I despise the most!!! Along side my beloved ex girl in Kiev!!!
