Smart?A-H,,, as far as I know,,,, of Jet, RnB and I,, I’m the only one who took a Russian wife from Russia! And the laws would have needed to go into effect 14 years ago. My anniversary of that trip is coming up in a couple of weeks. Very often, I wish there had been laws on the books keeping us out.

One of my friends does work similar to mine in Russia ans she said there hasnt been any problems. They are on good terms with the Orthodox church and considered "Kremlin friendly" meaning their FB and VK pages as well as website feature pro Russian comments and posted "congrats" to Putin when he was elected. Its all about appearances. Im treated well in Russia but my facebook is also positive about Russia and it probably helped in my visa app,lol

When choosing Ukraine or any other country in favor of Russia, the visa requirement is not the only consideration as some has insisted on.

@rb: I understand your sentiment, about Russia vs. Ukraine. And I'm glad to say that in some ways, Ukraine is doing better. However, both countries (with most of the other former Soviet Republics) are plagued by horrible corruption at all levels. From my limited knowledge, I could not judge that Russia is more corrupt than Ukraine. Ukraine seems to be doing better, when it comes to political freedom at the personal level. At the same time, an international organization (don't remember which at the moment) that grades countries according to freedom of the press significantly downgraded Ukraine's rating about a year ago. And several people who were high-ranking officers in Ukraine's previous government (in American-speak, in the previous administration) are now rotting in jail (most famously, Yulia Timoshenko) -- as far as I can tell, because their side lost the last election. I wish these countries, and their ordinary citizens, all the best. Where they are today, and the direction they're now headed, give me much cause for worry.

Ukraine is doing better because they are more friendly to foreigners! Mostly because they need us for income. The Ukrainian government has put a lot of faith in their women,,,, placing the heavy burden of maintaining the countries economy,, firmly on the backs of their young women! You know what I’m talking about!

Danny,, you haven’t been to Ukraine,, SO HOW CAN YOU COMPARE?????? I’m desperate???? I didn’t spend over 200,000.00 in 7 years like you!! I didn’t let a thief into my home and let her steal 30,000!! I’m not the one who needs to play LOST to trick women into helping you!! I don’t search my girls pockets for money like you do! My girls don’t kill themselves!!!! You are the desperate one. On my last trip, the girl didn’t show up. The interpreter told me to write a letter to her, and maybe if I ask her, she will see me?? I said; NO! My trip had a 21 hour duration time, then I had to travel 6 hours by car to meet her,,,,,,, and I told the interp,,,,, NO!! Does that sound desperate??? No, danny,, once again you have things backwards,,, but that’s what you are all about!!!! I left more girls than had left me. I’m not going to marry just anything. There are two types of men/women, those willing to settle just to keep there lonely hearts free, or those that wont settle and keep the good fight searching for the right one. I think lonelyranger is of the later danny. I'll go to my grave single before I will settle for the first Russian girl I meet.
