They DID flip out, just like I thought, for my story. Now let me put this in perspective. I went to Ukraine and found a girl to eat with - so that I wouldn't have to eat alone, within thirty minutes. She offered to sleep with me the next Friday, but instead I dated another girl (who I didn't sleep with either). Whats wrong with that? Horrors! A man dated TWO women in a WEEK. Oh the SHAME! Right? Anybody see any money that changed hands? Any payments of cash or earrings? And false promises made? Anything at all? But the two dumbest guys in the forum, who are SO unsuccessful, jealous, and looking for a way to jusmp on anybody who can GO to Ukraine and even have a DATE with a woman (without payment) are jumping all over me - claiming that a story as innocent as this one makes me a SEX TOURIST. Congratulations - you two behaved exactly as I suspected - with jealousy and accusations. And you would look like a Hee Haw. Even good quality Wranglers, Levis or other jeans that do not have the proper (atificial) fading are thought to look like you are "from the village". They have to have the right amount of stitchin on the pocket - and even men (though not me) wear things like studs and shiney things. Gone are the days when you had to wera black leather jacket and black pointed shoes - but those are still better than general western clothes. Now you can wear more stylish clothes but they have to be ITALIAN (or European) stylish. No body reading the forum really cares so much about "the" single individual here. Its all about caring about self, about ones self image that keeps the battle going. Like with Durak there, he may have over stepped some boundaries with you but he was doing it without guile, that loss is part of who you are now. If they attack you, who cares, why should you? Nobody who has any kind of strong independent thought process is going to judge you based on what a couple strangers says about you. And the same goes for them because they are doing the same exact thing you are, trying to defend there integrity which does not need to be defended on an anonymous forum such as this. jetmba. Then again, I sometimes dress to fit in and consequently get lost in the crowd, pushed and shoved in lines and queues UNTIL I speak up and speak English with an American accent and then I get a lot of attention. But I made a pact with myself next time I travel to Europe is that I am just going as myself, besides I am just going there to meet friends and explore, I am to old to be chasing woman around the cities. And if I meet a girl that sees that for what it is, great, if not I'm really not afraid to be Alone and not lonely. If you happen to read Forbes Magazine - you might be aware that many of the richest people in America dress in ordinary clothes and drive ordinary cars - Sam Walton in his later days drove and old pickup truck from Walmart to Walmart. Warren Buffet still lives in simple home in Omaha that he moved to in 1956. A best selling book called "The Millionaire Next Door" was written on this very subject. Wealth is downplayed in the US. But this is just not the case in Eastern Europe. If you DRESS like a Yahoo - you likely ARE a Yahoo. And they aren't looking for a foreign Yahoo. They have plenty of domestic ones. Almost universally the guys who do the WORST at Romance Socials are the guys who refuse to wear a suit. A suit is still respected over there. Almost every hotel has shoe shine supplies available because many women will not be seen with men who have scuffy shoes. most hotels have an ironing room - as an Eastern European man of substance wouldn't be caught dead in an unironed shirt. Be yourself if you choose - but be forwarned. How would you be looked at over there?" most certainly you would stand out as an American,lol In winter I tend to stand out more because of my preference for wearing athletic gear (sweatpants,hoodie)during the day because I refuse to be uncomfortable. I wear base layer ski thermals underneath, even under suits, because I simply hate wearing big coats. So I usually stand out by being the only one without a big heavy coat on the streets. Now I do tend to suffer indoors because of this because everywhere is incredibly warm with central heating. As to the professional matchmaking? Elena's I hear has very good results. It definitely better than blindly doing the agency thing. jetmba. Twelve women in 14 days. This guy was a physician and a widower. His dead wife had ALSO been a physician and she died very quickly from breast cancer. He kind of lost it that neither he nor his wife, had been able to detect the cancer nor cure it and he just went off the deep end. At HIS rate I would have had to have slept with 350 women in 25 trips - not FOUR.
