Of the women that I planned to meet,,, only one was divorced,,, and she was one of the no shows. The other women complained about their own men not being serious,,, acting more like boys than men. But with a little experience,,, you realize that they are just pandering to the older men, with their agency propaganda.
As you said it yourself, you can interpret the statistics and fact whichever way you want. A Greek politician can say that his country has never been better off according to the historic statistics. Have you thought of going into politics?
Ragingbull, do not listen if you do not want to, I am saying that in the FSU there are so many external problems to a marriage that 'maturity' must be a small part of the problem.
I have proved that, where there are fewer problems like in the UK, the divorce rate is higher among the middle age and that, where there are many problems, the divorce rate is high.
In 90% of cases, the young FSU girl will live in a Western country like the UK, not in the FSU. So maybe in the FSU she would be divorced at the age of 25 and at 45 in the UK.
With the current problems in the Ukraine, god knows how many couples will end up splitting up.
If a girl is 19 and is with someone 39 its much different than a woman who is 30 with someone who is 50. The age difference depends on personality, health, are you a young looking 50 year old in good physical shape, or are you 100 lbs overweight and almost have a heart attack each time you go up a flight of stairs? Age is just once factor.
I agree with the earlier post that it very much depends on the personality and their life experiences if the age difference matters. Some women think a guy 5 years older is unacceptable where others are totally OK with a 20 year difference. Age is only one factor, an important factor but other things sometimes matter more.
“With the current problems in the Ukraine, god knows how many couples will end up splitting up. “
When times are tough,,,, it would be wise to stay together,,, to combine assets and resources. Only irrational emotions would separate a couple that once loved each other!
"I have proved that, where there are fewer problems like in the UK, the divorce rate is higher among the middle age and that, where there are many problems, the divorce rate is high."
You did not. You gave one hundred years of data. The last year and region fit your point and you said, "aha!!!"
"So maybe in the FSU she would be divorced at the age of 25 and at 45 in the UK."
Maybe? At age 25? There is a big difference in the age in which you state. I think people are people, US, FSU or UK. I don't believe there is that big and age gap. Still, there is an age. That you agree on, but argue against.
I posted it, but you don't believe it. It is in the US data. I don't believe the rest of the world are that different.
Your data is for one region for one year. Young people are volatile. Older people want to settle down. You will have to back up your data better than one region for one year. Then maybe I will believe you.

“almost have a heart attack each time you go up a flight of stairs?”
That’s not funny!! In Tver’ I stayed in the “flat from hell” up on the 5th floor. I had my big suitcase on wheels,,, usually over 50lbs, my carry on that is packed tight, and my computer, with an extra external battery, 4 to 6 DVDs, set of speakers, all the cords, and my info papers with it.
The taxi driver carried the big suitcase, and I took the carry on, the computer and two bags of groceries. Fxxk,,,,,,, hah, hah!! Both of us were puffing when we got to the room,,,, I walked around and made it look like I was checking out the flat,, but I was just catching my breath.
The interpreter carried nothing, and asked that I give the driver a tip.
Wigeseeker, why would it suit me? I could care less. Do what you want. If you must go through it, go. It is not me tweaking the statistics.
Ladies getting paid in agencies to add to that, There is a multitude of ladies under 30 in the agencies. If they don't hurry and get married, they will become old maids.
By the way, when I said age gap, I meant the difference between being American, Ukrainian, and other countries. The maturity treshold cannot be 26 in the US and 45 in England and Wales. I just don't believe it. I had not commented on age gap on dating.
My data is for one region? This 'region' is two whole countries England and Wales with a population of 56.5 million. It is one of the main places where Western men marry FSU women and, ultimately, the one that matters to me as one of those 56.6 million.
I never said that the maturity threshold in England and Wales is 45 years old as I have said in these forums, some 10 times, that I do not believe there is such thing as maturity age and if you look for any official study or statistic of the 'maturity threshold' by a respectable body like the UN or WHO you will not find it as it does not exist.
You seem to think that your 'maturity threshold' is something like the change to puberty.
The unrest in the Ukraine is not nation wide. The whole south east quarter of the country has nothing going on. The western Ukraine has already taken over the government buildings and I've been told is fairly peaceful too but have not contacted people who live there to confirm this.

Yes, one region. England and Wales is one region. All I was doing was telling how one should not marry someone immature, and there is a treshhold. You circumvented that statement with your statistics of 45 years old on one region with one set of people. Yes. maturity is something like the change of puberty. You said there was no magic age, but there is. It is nowhere near 45. Why would you tell those statistics if that is not what you are telling? If you want to go astray, go ahead. But don't take anyone with you.
"the 'maturity threshold' by a respectable body like the UN or WHO you will not find it as it does not exist."
That is one study which I do not believe. I showed you the US study. The US is different in that study? You are making things up. You don't know what you are talking about.
Oh yeah? point me to the web page where the UN has published papers on maturity age to get married.
You just keep changing your story as it suits you and, even worse, putting words in my mouth. I gave you the statistics of age for the highest divorce numbers in the UK, to prove, once and for all, that your speculation that the age of maturity for marriage of 25 or so is proved by the fact that the highest divorce rate is among people in their mid twenties. Then you come and tell me that I said that the maturity age is 45.
The UK and Wales are a region, yeah right.
You guys just cannot let it go when you see that you are being shown that you are not as smart as you think you are.
