Durak,,, I believe there will soon be travel warnings issued for Odesa! Several men have reported “Beerishka” sightings when out and about. Residents are locking their doors and hiding all beer.
I have recently been to Crimea, I saw no trouble and I was welcome by those who met me. I am a UK citizen but the insurance cost me from the only company that wanted to insure m for going to a country against the Foreign Office advice
I know, Ive got to bring that Odessa chick a couple things. Just havent been able to go that far south in past 2 trips of only a week each just for work.
and No LooneyRanger, you didnt run me off. Sometimes the same ol BS here gets old and uninteresting. Besides, why talk about the gals when you can actually spend time with them ;)
I don’t recall telling anyone that I ran you off,,,, Rick4jailbait!! Just that you vanished after I mentioned a photo of you with yet another 15 year old girl on another continent.
“gals” That makes them sound so old! Why don’t you give them an accurate name??
oh geez another conspiracy theory whack job. Alex Jones has predicted and "reported" so many things that end up being false
its ridiculous. The only claim by infowars.com that might be true is Michelle Obama is a man, lol.
video exists of the actual shoot down that has been deleted from VK. There is no doubt the Russian backed terrorists shot down ML17
I returned on July 10 after 23 days in Ukraine. Most of the time I was in Odessa. Tourism is way down for obvious reasons. I went to Ukraine for the first time in 2007. At the time the exchange rate was about 4.7 to the dollar. In my recent visit it was 11.5 to the dollar. So my money went a long way and I felt rich. I asked one merchant about business this summer and she said her sales were down about 80%. I stayed in a Stalin era flat in the center of the city for about $21.00 a day. Amazing, really. I had front row seats at the Opera House to see Swan Lake. Price: about $25.00 each. A nice dinner out for three including drinks cost less than $30.00. While this is great for us as tourists, it is a sad commentary on the state of the country itself. I saw open non violent hostility between nationalists (as they are called) and separatists. It really is a country with deep divisions. I saw very little presence of the Ukrainian military. There was not any atmosphere of war that I could detect in Odessa. Life seems to be going on for the locals as usual. Interestingly, when I left, I flew Aeroflot to Moscow, and then back to the U.S. I think my flight might have gone over the same area where the Malaysian jet was shot down. I left exactly one week before that plane was shot down. Well, this concludes my report. Regards to all!
Did I say I only went to Odessa? I didn't, I was also in other parts of Ukraine. I went to meet someone I had corresponded with, but she did not live in Odessa. We merely went there as a side-trip. How did it go? Not well. Despite her age (over 45), and overall seemingly impoverished state, in retrospect she came across as a pro-dater. I didn't spend much money on her, though, and actually just walked out on her and went to the airport when I had my fill of her. I didn't have a return flight scheduled; I just packed and left. Very dramatic:))I did see lots of street walkers while I was in Odessa. Didn't partake, but they seem pretty obvious who they are and what they do for a living.
Like I have said before, an older woman is no guarantee that she is more reliable than a young 25 year old who is serious. You can end up with this 45 (more like 50) year old good time 'girl' who is completely spoilt and thinks she still has got it. Look at the profile photos of some of these women: wearing fur coats, in front of a porsche, on a yatch, etc. I stay well away from those women.
I am corresponding with a lovely 29 year old who has sent me loads of photos. All home made photos, no studio photos, no Gucci bags (fake normally) or pretence that she lives in a fancy house. She lives in one fo those enormous blocks in a small flat. No questions to me about my house, car, salary or anything like that. I would rather go with this cute and simple 29 year old than a pretentious 45 year old (gold digger or pro dater).
Tom, oh shut up! Odessa is the best city in the world! And if you are too stupid to get scammed then you need to get scammed! And you will be scammed in any city in any country!
Has anyone of you who have traveled to Odessa seen the Body Art Carnival on May 2? People strip naked and get painted all over and walk out in public. You get to see a lot of naked people (but I guess if you see a lot of street walkers then it should not be such a big deal).
Are children allowed to see this public gathering?
I am corresponding with a lovely 28 year old who has sent me loads of photos. All home made photos, not studio photos, no Gucci bags (fake normally) or pretense that she lives in a fancy house. She lives in a small flat. No questions to me about my house, car, salary or anything like that.
(sorry for the plagarism, but except for the age, my lady's description is nearly identical to yours).
BTW, the photos are without makeup taken in outdoor scenery. Her flat appears modestly furnished. However, her flatscreen monitor is larger than mine, so she does have something bigger than mine. I was going to show her all of my flat screen TVs and computers in my home, but decided not to be a show off.
hah hah, why would you show her your computers and TVs?
I sent this girl a photo of me and my kids in a Christmas celebration at my cousin's house, which is really big. The photo was in her huge dining room. She replied: I wish I could be there with you. I said: sorry that is not my house. She replied: I was not talking about the house, I do not care about it, I was talking about YOU. Oops, I put my foot in it. I apologised and she was OK with it.
I guess maybe to let her know that I can see multiple TV stations at the same time and send data across computers/smart TV so I can chat with myself? LOL
The girl that I am corresponding with said that she has thought about leaving and moving to another place for a while. She is impatient, but knows that she has to wait. But she is sure that a meeting will be in her future.
