Up 80 miles norh where I am 6 to 650 per month (again pounds) wil get you a reasonable 3 bed semi or samll detatched in a town. The mortgage on my new place will cost me 512 per month and thats got 3 bedrooms and a self contained annex in the back garden which has its own bedroom living room/kitchen, shower and loo, so efectivly the house is 4 bedroom, al the houses of similar size I looked at renting were 6 to 700 a month !! Urban life is getting far too expensive. We should start some sort of campaign to get the urbanites converted to Rural living. Maybe then a flat in Picadilly Circus would be affordable... Not likely. In fact my dad pointed something out to me after we divorced that I hadn't noticed and he wasn't wrong now I think back on it. When we had him and my step mum and some of the family over for dinner a couple of times my X behaved almost like a servant !! She would remain not far from the kitchen and hardly interacted with anyone, it wasn't that anyone wanted her to be that way, I just think she didn't feel like she belonged, poor little mare :o///// But nothing was ever said and I didn't notice it myself at the time, but be assured I was very attentive to her, she never had any reason to feel she wasn't part of the family or that she wasn't loved and adored, it just wasn't to be :o/// I just hope that if Natash and I get that far that she wont have the same problems, but I will notice it this time and be able to do something about it, for warned is for armed !! I was setup with a friend of the family' daughter from Italy, and that first week was monsterous. The constant questions were nice, she wanted to learn. But there came a point where she was Soooo overwhelmed she didn't know what to do with herself. Talking to me about it was apparently out of the question, and I was far too stupid and naive to give it thought. Here i was in my ignorance walking in a rose garden and all she saw were the thorns. If I were Dr. Phil I'd say talking about it can make the difference. Then again, if I were Dr.Phil you'd think I was a retired porn actor and not give credence to what I say... Russian people do NOT talk about their problems easily. Asking a girl if there is something wrong or does she want to talk will NOT get her to talk to you, they will reply "I am fine my darling, why did you ask?" as mine used to or something similar !! To get them to talk you have to work up to and around the subject you think may be a problem for them, get them talking and then slowly get around to the subject thats causing the trouble. it is hard going sometimes but making a game of it, tickling her until she talks may help too, they are just much more reserved about voicing things which bother them. To most Russians the expression "Do you want to talk about it" is a stupid thing to say and they regard it as a useless expression !! No-one ever said this was going to be easy, (by The Inspiral Carpets :o)) Sony ad, and a great tune too :o))) ) did they ?
