What I mean is, if you have beer (even just one) you don't have wine later. Likewise if you start with wine, no cognac (I know its not really cognac - but Moldovans have an excellect facsimile) later even in tiny miniscule quantities. Why? Because mixing beer and wine, or anything and anything - "will get you drunk". Even just one glass of each during the evening???
