Yes, she may be a scammer. Then again, she may not, and could be the one. If she still interests you, I don't see that you have anything to loose until the subject of money comes around. If there is nothing suspicious so far, if she asks for no money and answers to all your questions and requests - well you have nothing to worry about. But always be on the alert. How tours can be a scam?" Simple answer to that one, Hookers !! Just because its a tour, and the ladies are there in front of you doesn't mean its legit !! EG: You are at the social, there are lots of lovely ladies hanging about, you meet and choose one, then you spend the next week maybe two taking her places, buying her presents and generally showing her a good time. She may sleep with you, she may not, but would you push it if she said she would rather wait a while ? No of course you wouldn't, she knows you will be a gentleman. Now if this girl is genuine, no problem, if she is a working girl you might be asking, so whats in it for her ? Well, she has had a lovely time, at your expense, a pile of gifts to keep, and hasn't even had to take her shoes off !! NOW before someone tears into me, I want to say that this is NOT factual, its an answer to Olga`s remarks, and another possible angle that everyone should look at when thinking about a "social" trip. Or would you rather meet just one lady that you have spent a few months getting to know properly ? Think about it :o)) I agree with Scott entirly, continue to write ot her, and see where it goes, if you get any suspicions ask here about them, but DO NOT send her any money and you cant get scammed !! But i think i have just succeded. Which is good news as i wont be shouted at for discusing my scammers anymore.. The bad news however is that my 1 lady still wants tourist visa 2 come 2 england as she is inpatient 2 meet me. There is however one small detail which does concern me a tad, why is she so hell bent on this tourist visa thing ? If I were you, that would worry me, I think you need to find out her motives about this, and be sure about it, and if you do decide to go that way, then make sure You pay everything from this end, you can, its easy, and that way you can get stiffed, but noone can benefit !! What I mean is, you buy the ticket in the UK, and make it Non refundable, then post it to her by fed ex or some such, that way she either uses it or bins it, it isnt worth a penny if it isnt used.
