Ptichka, I hear all about your city...I too agree that scammers have a need to disappear, but that will only happen when fools stop sending money!
Crash: How long ago did you start your visa process? I started my one week ago. I am using Holmes and Lolly to do the bulk of the work. Seems quite reasonable to me, since his staff in Moscow handle all the paperwork with my lady, etc. What do you think?
buckeyeman, maybe you can set something straight for me as well as anyone else who knows whats going on here. i was on yahoo for one boring month i got one response from a girl (i hope)anyway her name I'll leave out but she is a member of this site. I used her email address as a search topic and it led me here. funny her english is so much better on this site than it is in the mail. she sends pictures regularly each one a little more risque. the letters are long and drawn out never reponding to a particular question i've asked. but it seems she is kind enough to fill in my name, in what seems like a canned response. the other day i read something about anastasia one of the letters contained a long story about (from what i read) a fictious person. any help out there?
newbie
Dale, i figured as much. is this a normal practice to make up these long letters and just change a name here and there. i'm talking about 2.5 -3 pages 3-4 times per week. this is new teritory for me and i as anyone else would prefer navigate through the pitfalls as easy as possible.
thanks
Buck, we started our visa process about 3 weeks ago, but we are still getting our paperwork together in order to petition the government for our visa. My lawyer is based out of New York but has staff in my ladies city. Guys, it is very important to find a lawyer that has people that work for them where or near where your woman is. It is an ENORMOUS help for her, believe me!! Very good move Buck that you found a lawyer that has staff by your woman =), it will definitly pay off for you. I can tell everyone out here that it has already helped my fiance so much and they will help her all the way to her interview with the embassy. My decision to do this has made her feel so much more at ease, believe me.
Snookman,
THe reason her english is better on this site is probably because her letters are translated from russian, where as on yahoo, she is typing english herself, hence the difference. About the sexy photos, not answering your questions, I would expect a request for money soon. Not that it will happen for sure, but I smell something fishy, as anyone else here who has some experience will also tell you. In the beginning of my quest , I hated it when certain girls did not answer questions. Seemed to 'canned' as you said. I just cut them out of my search and moved on, as there are plenty of girls who will take an interest to you and your letters and gladly answer questions. My fiance, for example, loved my questions. She told me when I visited her that it showed I had interest in her and her country, rather than just blabbing on about myself, as some guys might do...If you are interested in this girl, just be blunt-'If you would like further correspondence with me, please answer my questions as I would like to learn everything I can about you.' THat usually does the trick if the girl is real, or if you dont get the responses you want, it means some guy named 'Boris' is busy cutting and pasting letters to other unsuspecting fools! LOL
Yeah, it is so important to find a lawyer with a russian staff in Russia (or ukraine, you get the idea). The first lawyer I contactd, Bill Livingston, made it clear to me that I would have to mail the documents back and forth to my fiance to get the work done. I am so glad I did not send him the retainer fee. Holmes and Lolly are more money, but to have his staff in Moscow do the legwork will easily pay for itself. After I got back from my trip in early July, I wanted to send my girl the doubles of the pics I took when I was there. I wanted them to get there fast (and the mail system stinks over there anyway), so I sent the UPS...It cost me 118 bucks! So, a couple of UPS sent documents would have easily ended up costing me more than having an attorney do the legwork 'in country' so to speak. Crash, I would like to hear more about your success. I think we are two of the lucky ones...
I'm in St Pete Beach, you must be on the east coast, closed season here or catch and relaese. they asked me one time at a site for the essay my favorite line like from a quote or something I said "fish on " I'm at it all the time. Wess
Wes i fish almost every day. i gave up keeping them years ago, unless i go off-shore i live due east in cocoa beach big redfish in this area. sometimes i'll take friends and neighbors out and put them on 45" reds on ten pound line, they love it. it takes about an hour to get one in on light tackle, but they aint hard to find.
hey I know your area workrd Cape Canaveral back in the seventies you know before it was the Kenedey Center. I lived in Port Canaveral. I caught a 22ponder two days before season closed 34.5 inches. I ate that one, first one I have kept in two and a half seasons. we better be careful we might be taking up Buckeyeman's space here. see ya
Buck, that was a lot of cash! I just sent my sweetheart a bunch of photos and it cost me about $10, who knows when and if it will arrive. I will let you know how long it takes. Yes I consider myself very lucky to have found the woman of my dreams, but Im not counting my lucky stars until she has that visa in her passport. I'm really nervous at this stage because I don't know what I'll do if she dosent get her visa. What the hell do we do then? At this point we are so attached that we can't imagine life without eachother. Are you going nuts being away from her yet? I'm crawling the dam walls, this is definitly very difficult being apart from eachother. I have much to say about my success but where do I begin and what do I say or not say in front of this audience we have, lol.
Snook, Wess, I live in FL too. Im down south in the Naples/Ft. Myers area
