Have you been to meet any girls over there or are you just saying what you think is the best way. I have 4 trips under my belt, not saying I know all by any means but writing letters is realy no more than an excuse to go. I have writen letters and when I got there these so called caring and understanding girls are not. In letters people tell you there opinion of themselve. There opinoin, not and outside viewers opinion. Write all the letters you want but please do not get to attached to this far away person because when the bubble is burst. Go over there, pick a city. Meet lots of girls and have a great time and when you come home write to the one you realy liked. Honestly guys seeing is believing. And wess, I had a fantastic time and I was not there to blow wind up anyones dress, I am seeking a wife. I meet plenty of girls who would come tomorrow if I asked them but the one I spent most of my time with was uneasy about leaving Ukraine although I did not ask her to come, this is just the begining of our friendship. And by the way, I am an Aussie. Thanks for reinforcing my assumptions, as you have been there four times and are still no closer to getting married than you were the first time that says to me that forming a bond and an emotional attachment with a woman over there is of the utmost importance. There are honest people on both sides of the pond that will give a good account of themselves. I live in St Pete beach on the water this is one of the greatest resort areas of the world. I can have all the fun I want. There is a beach full of foreign woman here that are looking for some fun and companionship and that goes for some of the married ones too. I think it is just a difference of wants and desires. I want a wife that I might start a family with. Maybe she has a child already my five are all grown and I am still not fifty, I think I am young enough to start over. I am not saying the way I approach things is the only way or the right way or the best way, I will say having done research and listening to others here that the majority think that a foundation of trust must be built if you want to meet a woman for marriage. No matter where you live if the relationship is based on mostly a physical attraction then it will not survive, so you go to Moldova for example and meet a girl and what do you say to her in bed with out the interpreter. It is pretty easy now for me to spot the genuine woman that are eager to tell the truth and build an emotional bond, this is done by letters, and phone calls and photos yes, not just a glamour shot but some real every day photos, and a risqué photo or two as well like the one my girl just sent me, no not naked but provocative that said to me i must be special to get this photo. Things are working well with us. So maybe I am wrong, I have met a girl that is 29 with a son 9 that is very attractive and we are building that bond. I will go there and meet her and we will be almost committed to each other when I arrive, there will be no need for a back up plan. The plan then will be how to get honey home. I have been on this site for about 4 months now and have had correspondence with about 65 ladies - and out of those only a handful developed into any kind of (to me anyway) meaningful dialogue. Some of them still didn't work out, and I have no way of knowing whether it will work out with the one I am seeing, but it still seems to me a lot better to do it this way as opposed to go see girls that write meaningless stuff and do not share anything of substance about themselves. (Sorry if I offend any ladies that might read my thread with "meaningless"). I wrote letters to thid girl and she did not seem to say much either. The one I went to see said a lot and was begging me to come but when I arrived did not even meet me at the airport. She asked me, I did not ask her. I realy did not care but the other girl started to become more interesting just before I went, more interesting than the one I was going to see but I had already made my planes. Hace you ever meet someone in face to face for the first time, at work perhaps and not realy taken a shine to them. Then after time being forced to see them because of work later find them to be a great person and even a friend. I have and it can happen in letters too. By the way, 65 girls is a lot to write to in 4 months, did they all write back or was that the number of letters you origonally sent off. I find it hard to beleive you could even keep track of such a number. Wess, if you are a single man and do not party hard every weekend, 1, even 2 carefully planed trips to FSU is totaly possible. All the girls I meet, if they had meet anyone before it was a yank. I was the first Aussie anyone had even seen before on my last trip. Also, did you know that when you arrive in ukraine you have to fill out an entry and exit form, one of may forms but, on this particular form there is some advertising on the back (they give it to you on the plane). For resturants, one is for a brothel I think and the other is for American men like you. A law firm advertising strickly to Americans to help them get there special lady home asap. They proccess over 500 visas a year. This ad is directed at the most common vistors to ukraine ladies I would think. Most didn't go further than 2 or 3 letters and then ended, I didn't end any that were making a serious effort to communicate. Everybody has to figure out for themselves what they are after and what works for them, I am not suggesting my approach is the right one for everyone. I am hoping that by going into the meeting with moderate expectations I take the pressure off and just let it happen naturally. Wish me luck ......
