'Dumbing down', ‘Gangster rap’, TV shows in which religion, good behaviour, everything that was once considered good is ridiculed. Why? ‘It’s the economy, stupid’. Strong united communities who support each other don’t spend as much money as selfish individuals. It’s that simple. Yes, you are seeing bad manners but those bad manners have been cultivated and as a concerned parent trying to counter these influences on a daily basis, you will have to work hard to convince me how great America is. And when you go to the FSU and see how well behaved most of the children are there, you might be a tad less defensive. I don’t question Americans willingness to die for what they believe in. So what? Doesn’t that apply in every country? I will die for an ideal too. To protect my family. As for the Venture, Mine is a first generation and the Plastics will fit up to 1988, the problem being is everyone is looking for the Front fairing which seemed to suffer from stress fractures and the wrecked bikes the fairings are junk. QC- The term "Soap Opera" was panned from commercials from a company here in Cincinnati called "Procter& Gamble". Makers of Tide detergent, Crest toothpaste, Pampers(disposable diapers) ,which many people here should be wearing, plus a million other household products. P&G sponsored the first daytime drama series in either the 40's or 50's and the only commercials used were for "Ivory Soap".
