There WAS major housecleaning when George W. Bush took over after Bill Clinton.
It wasn't ONLY the blue dress that Clinton messed himself on. I hear Clinton left little samples of himself all over the place, on the carpet, on the desks even a few on the chandelier. It took weeks for cleaning staff to thouroughly get rid of it.
Voting in federal elections in the US peaked after Watergate. Since then, the amount of registered voters who vote have continued to decline which I think is testament to their intelligence. Your vote will not decide the election unless it is decided by one vote. Vote your dollars and your feet, something you control and forget about the civil religion. As far as the Republican/Democratic approved Mid East perpetual war goes or for that matter all of the wars on... fill in the blank, these adventures are nothing but glorified welfare programs designed to take money from those that produce in society and give it to the crony's that support these boobs for office. It is fitting that the only two anti-war pres candidates have been titled "un-winnable" by the corporate media. And remember when the US government runs in defeat from Iraq and Afghanistan like they did in Saigon, it was American foreign policy that lost the war and not the American people.
