The crux of the matter is, these fluffy replies you get from a big proportion of ladies are from shallow and non committed types. What I mean is, there seems to be a large majority of FSU women who lack foresight - imagination of another life outside what they have. A lot of them have trouble seeing the inside of the square, let alone looking outside the square. But, there is still those with focus and goals. Who have thought the process through and like us, want to give it their best shot and commitment. If a lady does not write a letter that gets my juices flowing (not those juices) you know, mental stimulation and give you that feeling that you want to reply as soon as you have read her letter, then I don't bother proceeding with communication. However, If you do get a personal email address, and she can speak english, this is a help, as I have learned. If she need a intupertor, then they tell you they need funds. It can be like 5 dollars a letter. So If you love some lady, then you may be sending pages, and she the same. She will never have the money for it all. So you know the story, you will have to pitch in. So my experience is this. She may be taking money from many guys, and you may be getting free letters so fast, and then you may be asked for the money. If not, you may ask her if she has to pay for all the leters, then she will say yes, and hit around for the money. So, I have played a little game on the last one. This is the best I have done. Just get another email address, and a different name. Get into her mail system some how, by membership, or just some bs oon how you got her email address from her agency. Then after you have sent money to her, tell her you dont want any one else to contact her, and see what she says. If she says, you are the only one, and all that. Then check it out on the other email address to her. You may find out, she is using copy letters, and just filling in the blanks, or at the end, answering some of the questions. I just had a really bad experience, and it was all that. She is a little lieing Lena, that is Elena, some cute 24 year old blond, with a 5 year old kid. So she is good, and can answer you quickly, she has a evil Olga gal to even play the game at some Intenet_ cafe. She just tells everone that she has no one special. So you have to just get the information on them, and then check it out. I can not say much more, but perhaps get one of these priviate investagators, at 35.00 per hour to call her, and ask question, and check files on her if she is that right for a guy. Its better to pay the bill on a little check it out, than to be heart broken on her in the end, and the time, and money all comes out the same. This is when you have 2 or 3 weeks there and ladies in 4 different cities. My experience is that they will ask you to send them the money for the ticket to travel to your city. Fair enough as it is not expensive especially if they travel by train. Approximately $5.00 for 250 mile trip. They may say they're not happy about sharing a 2 bedroom apartment let alone a hotel room. (they really don't know you yet and of course all that will come along naturally later anyway) their words. So the solution is that they have a friend who has or knows someone who can rent them an apartment inexpensively, say $40 -$50 per night. So next thing is you meet them at the train station all excited, then you go to the apartment and are asked to pay in advance. Say $200. Then you go out and later see them home and they tell you to just see them to the front door. They say the owner does not allow strangers there or some such excuse. This goes on for a few days, plus there's the typical " Oh, my hand bag broke, or my good shoes broke, so you being Mr. Nice Guy buys them a new handbag or new shoes. Amazing how often this occurs !!! Then you call the flat after a couple of days and someone answers and says sorry they had to leave in a hurry. You ask about the $100 of rent that had been paid and not used, Oh, they gave the lady the refund. All the while you will have been spending big on them for entertainment especially if it's a larger city like Kyiv and they come from the provinces. It's a real treat for them for a few days. This has only happened to me once but I have heard this same story from others. So, my advice is go to their city every time... You might also find out more about them there. But how about this, I took a lady to the Kirov Ballet and because my 19 year old son who was with me doesn't speak Russian, she arranged for her friend's 20 year old English speaking daughter to come along as company for him. During the course of the evening and some small talk, my son asked this girl, who had perfect English, had she ever been to our country. Her reply was no she hadn't, to which he responded with "you really should go visit". Her response to this, in an indignant tone was, " Well, I should do a lot of things, for example I should pay off my credit card, I should, etc, etc...." Sorry, but sometimes the meaning is lost in translation. So we should all try hard to be more patient..
