Both Bagira AND Unclebuck have also disapeared. Now I am starting to be concerned. It was all good fun to begin with now it is getting scary. Who will be next?
Yes, Bagira. You are absolutely right. We all in Europe know it. I was so glad to read your response, it made me angry to read Russsian women prefer their careers to children - the people who wrote this have no idea of Russia and Russian women who I really admire! :-) Ania.
What we all in Europe know??? I have idea of Russia and people ARE different, some russians prefer career, some leave their kids to grandparents some are housewives. How old are you Ania, not another sweet Ptichka?
Annika77, this was not me for sure:) I always told that people are different, and think in different ways:) But you forgot to mention, that there are women, who do carreer, give birth to children, take care about the house...and they do that all at the same time:) And they ae happy:) So everybody is different:)
Bagira, I am so glad to see your response, I admire Russian women - they r capable of sacrifice and EDUCATED, yes, what`s wrong with that? We in Erope r proud of it! we don`t study to make careers brecause we r so ambitious, we study because it is the only way of finding a better job and making decent money to survive! Family values is a totally different thing, who said you can not have both? We all love children and family life! That is why we want to work, to have a family and provide it with money, it is a necessity!
I think I don`t need to convince u of the value of education, you r all adults and veccinated people :-)
No you are right I think women in Europe organize their time better than in USA! And most career wumen have families and kids! This family orientatatin isnt even issue in my country!
No one said you cannot have both, I was the one to start this topic, my point was that men should not look entirely for a housewife... If that is what they are looking for they better go an hire a housekeeper... I wrote this to wake up some dreamers out there, because there are no doubt some men are having dreams of the perfect wife, who is raising children, doing the house, is always beautiful with the make-up on, walking around the house in high heels and look sexy 24 hours a day... Life ain't like that.. That was my point, these women do study and they want a career.
You even say it yourself in your last post here: "I think I don`t need to convince u of the value of education". This was also my point Ania, there are a reason they study so hard. I was just trying to make people think about their own expectations and their ability to go through with a prosess like this. It is expencive to find a woman outside your own country, Instead of a lot of tears I was hoping people would take a look in the wallet and look at their expectations before starting to break hearts... These women are not robots, and the media often make them stand out different than the reality.. This is not a piece of cake, it is a lot of work and it takes quite an effort to go through.. People should know this before they sit down by the keyboard and make promises they can't keep...
It was never in my mind to talk negative about Russian women.
Annika, all we think and say is based on our personal experience, in everybody`s case it is different so sometimes we can differ, even have to. The worst thing is when you say much not having any. Pathetic!
About being pathetic...Im 42 years old and mother of teenager and speak fluent russian, my colleagues are russians. I have partner who is brit so I know about family life in UK quite well, my boyfriends exwife lives in USA so sort of know how things are in that country too. I have some life excperience, thank you very much Ania!
And I think personally NORs post was good!
annika, u misunderstood, the words weren`t meant for u! but for people who speak just having no experience for the sake of speaking, i am sorry to have hurt your feelings, i am really sorry, forgive me.
