What makes you think that these women with the age diff would necessarily head to the door? I see the chances as equal between the 50+ year old male heading to the door and the 20+ year old female heading to the door. This mindset of defeat and lack of confidence based strictly on something as controversial as age difference is all it takes to be damped by any woman of any age. I have NEVER in my entire life been damped by a woman except for those who had very good reasons. I am convinced that any woman will stick with you if she believes you're worth her devotion and time even if there is not deep love between you (because if she loves you, the outcome is obvious). I always explained this one simple thing to the women that I was involved for reasons that were incremental to sex: I care about you and I feel there is a connection between us, but if you let me down, I will forget you in a snapshot and I will go on with my life, and you will make it very easy for me because you will give me reason to convince myself that you're not worth ME. In other words, QC, a woman including my wife with whom we share the same affection and love is as priviliged to have my full attention as I am. What QC does not understand, know or consider just as valid is that those offers are available to women of ALL ages who live here and have either money, looks or both. What the hell do you want me to do....go on a murdering rampage to make sure there are no younger affluent men for me to worry about, lol? Hardly a solution. Live in her country? Never..!! Marry a local woman?..HA! QC, I do not bury my head in the sand when I evaluate the risks and advantages of the age differences between myself and MY Lena. And I waste no time bringing it up to the forefront of our conversations to find common ground or pick up on potential red flags. She is aware, as well. I do not think I'm a fool for taking these chances. I'm going into it with my eyes wide open, my ducks in a row and my prenup pretty well written. Simply put, everything you predict, suspect and foresee has a much higher degree of reality for those men who DO NOT discuss this things with their women. I am much more polite in my conversations with MY Lena than the way you, I and others communicate in here. That does not mean I shy away from bringing up serious subjects or avoid letting her know what I want, expect, believe and find acceptable or not. Neither does she, for that matter. Guys, it's NEVER a guarantee of eternal bliss, but like I said a gazillion times you must have a clear concise mental picture of what you want your life to be like. The clearer the better, to the point of being able to parrot it without hesitation to whatever woman you are trying to woo...how else do you expect to find common ground to build something serious? THAT is what I think QC does not have and by default places both of us on entirely opposite ends of the search spectrum. These friends, neighbors and acquaintances have marriages of 5-10 years. Does that qualify for your discrimitating eye, mate? I have even asked a couple of them to visit the forum and post their first hand experiences. Both politely refused citing lack of interest in getting themselves on the line of fire. I don't blame them. The most visible common denominator among these women is an honest appreciation for the opportunity to have a better life that allows them not only a higher standard of living, but also gives them the means to provide for their immediate families back in the old country while doing something they really like or were trained to do in the first place. It is my very lack of a good marriage track record that led me to make it an important part of my search to learn as much as possible about their marriages without becoming a pest..:)) These women work with their husbands or have businesses/jobs of thier own. The age differences range between 6-18 yrs. FSU marriages in so calif are all over the place. It's a big advantage for me to be able to talk to these people.
