Carlos, I think the only thing your are pumping in America is a lot of bullshit and maybe my neighbors dog. Anytime a guy starts dropping a dime on how much he spends and what he does with money makes me thing of the old joke when a girl uses the word fantastic in place of the word bullshit.

Lol! You are funny, maybe izifaddag is right. Beacuse I know about the age. It's ubnormal when man is trying to get marriage with 18-25 yo and he is 45-60. He is crazy. Yes, he will to spend much money for that, but as soon as wife will to get the passport, - she will to leave him. I know some russian women with different in age between her and her husband more than 10 years. All is going to get only the passport. It's pity. But when men are so fools to think by their dicks - not by their heads- lol-lol-lol! And about the money. How much does coast to leave all you had before? Your life, your friends, kids, good work only to be with loved man? Are you ready to live in the awful Russia for you will to get $US200 per month or nothing like me? I think it�s mooooore better, you will be able your bride want not only your money! I was agreed with my so super hubby I needn't in any support in the Russia, - thanks God I have good job and I'm not poor. I will be glad after you will to think about all that. And I know why you are searching russian wives: we are pretty and great really! P.S. All I will to take with me when I'll be backed to my foreign husband - only my 20 kg suitcase. Just a little update to my previous post. The 43 year old that I stated was the best looking one. Yeah - IN THE PHOTOS!! In person she was about (minimum) 10 years older than those pictures, however she was still a very attractive woman for 43. The 40 year old looked nothing like her pictures. I was so discouraged by those 2 I didn't even bother with the other 2 I had. Although one of them went looney on me via emails before I went and I dumped her like a bad habit. The moral of this story is:- Do not believe pictures or emails or profiles. Only meeting proves anything at all. I have had this abundantly proven to me both in Russia and Ukraine. Writing and exchanging emails should be after the fact not before. Go. Meet. Return. Get to know each other even better by writing and calling (if she speaks English:) Go back again.

Thank you all for the tremendous insights as I begin my search. I am 50 (in better shape than most) and figured that I'd look 10 years down and 1 up. Doing some searches with this criteria led me to the following observations: 1. There are many attractive women that I'd love to have on my arm as I left a drinking establishment. Or entered one for that matter. Not that I drink that much but you get the idea. 2. The comments and descriptions from these ladies seem more mature and in tune with my own thoughts. 3. The ladies who have children, tend to have children that are older. Experience chasing grandbabies has convinced me that (normally) parents are young for a reason. I can still take nearly any 15 year old 1 on 1 in basketball to 15 points and whoop 'em. But I find it difficult to take twin 2 year olds for 2 hours. >sigh< 4. I'm pretty sure that many of the 26 year olds that are 'looking' for men up to 50+ would inspire me to kill myself attempting to be 25-30 again. Or to paraphrase a famous movie quote, "My ego would be writing checks that my body wouldn't be able to cash... for long anyway." In short, the comments on this thread, and others, serve to confirm the criteria that I am using to start my search. Thanks again!

When I was 39 I went with a cute 22 year old American girl. It was not exhausting for me-although she did love to party every night. It was feeling like I was really misunderstood ( old ) and feeling out of place. Much of what I had to say flew over her and her friends` heads. They talked about school and silly young girl relations. It was like going back in time to when you were just making the transition from high school to college,and I was really bored. She was a baby!! I wonder if 30 year old ladies seem like babies to some of the 50 plus year old guys. It seems to me that a gap of 20 years is just too much!

Big difference between a 22 year old American girl and a 22 year old FSU woman. I swear that most women in the FSU seem more mature. That is not to say (of course) that there isn't scamming, etc. etc. etc. but they seem much more aware of themselves and the world than any young woman from the US. As many forum members know, I am 48. I just had my "fiance", a beautiful 25 year old Moldovan in the US for three months. There were problems, without a doubt (which is why she is not here now). Too complex to go into here, but they were not the same problems I would have encountered with a 25 year old American woman.

Jetmba A side issue really. It apparently is extremely difficult obtaining a visa, to bring an FSU woman to NZ, when there is a 20+ age difference. It would be my No1, perhaps only, reason for not going for a much younger woman. Did you have any trouble in that way, getting a K1 visa for your fiance?

Actually we had no trouble at all with the application and the age difference. The ONLY time my ladyindicated that someone took exception to our difference in ages was in Detroit - where she had to present her visa to cross the border into the US. Under US law the border guard can srutinize and actually deny admission even if all the papers are in order (and they were). My lady told me that a 40ish woman who looked at the faiance visa application exclaimed loudly - "There's a TWENTY THREE YEAR age difference between you. Twenty three YEARS!" Then the older woman told my lady that the fiance visa had already expired - when her passport was obviously stamped with a mark indicating that she has two more months left to enter the US. This matter was quickly cleared up. That was the only difficulty we had bringing a woman more than 20 years my junior in. And incidently - it SHOULD NOT be a problem ANYWHERE. While a 20+ age difference might seem unusual - we are big boys and girls and should be able to make such decisions regarding our choice of mate, ourselves.

Actually there could be some advantages in finding a healthy woman of peasant stock with good strong muscle and bone structure, a pleasant disposition, and a nursing education, who is a bit younger than oneself. One should plan for the future.

:)) Let's not forget about good hens, healthy chicks, nice buck-eyes, cute bunnies, and know some prefer a porky look. Beware of pigs though, and presenting oneself as a stud apparently is wrong too. Fishy perverts like Geri of course have to mention their need for a 'strong muscle'. What's next - anything specific clam-related??
