GNP measures production by citizens and local corporations domestically and abroad. Production done by foreigners and foreign corporations is subtracted. GDP measures all production with a country whether that production is done by citizens and local companies, or whether that production is done by foreign companies (the procedes of which are sent to far away corporate offices and never made really part of the economy). Because GPD includes the production of huge foreign corporation operating within developing countries (whereas GNP doesn't) it artificially inflates production statistics for those countries. In any even - I am not sure where you got figures for Estonia's 2005 GDP - since its generally measured after the year is over (and the year isn't over yet), but the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs quotes different figures on their webpage. http://www.vm.ee/eng/kat_131/281.html It gives the higher GDP (not the GNP) per capita for 1999 as 3799 EUR ($4460 USD) and the GDP per capita for 2004 at 6703 EUR ($7869 USD). If secretary get 10 dollars a day in capital of Baltic state its means she might be beautiful but not good specialist and a bit dummie. To talk about no future for young girl its rediculous. So many cources and schools to develop herself, always possibility to go to work in EU country. So many cheap vacations in sale too, sheap tickets to London by Ryanair. Stripping and looking for foreign guys for husband in young age is really not necessery. What I would suggest for that girl is to go night school for secretaries and language school and her salary will double, actually 30 dollars is pretty average. Lots of companies educate their specialists too. Jet, in my high age woman usually isnt secretary but office manager or personal director who command these girls who "havent future":):):)And when I was 20 years old I studied in university by correspondence and worked at the same time, I lived in my own I hadnt nice boots and I didnt thaught of marriage (domestic or foregn)! I've known this girl for over a year. She's NOT particularly interested in marrying ME because I am a few years more than TWICE as old as she is, so she has no reason to tell me fairy tales.
