Im sure Martin UK havent very good income. And if we speak about what brits do and dont, for a brit you are very short tempered, arent you? You wife loves you beacause of your good character?
When we met,Martin, my boyfriend had only huge lawyers bills and flat, but he was handsome, blonde, he had good sense of humour and I saw great perspective! I was right he really achived a lot during these years we know each other. What about prostitutes, I dont know in what places you need to work:), my boyfriend works for military organization, you can guess witch one, he must be careful:)
Annika,
OK I don't have very good income, anything you say Annika, I agree with anything you say because, as always, you are very sure that everything that you presume to be true must be true.
I'm not short tempered, I haven't come anywhere close to losing my temper with you, the thought hasn't even entered my head but I guess, again, I must be mistaken because you say so and everything that you presume to be true must be true.
Why my wife loves me has actually got fock all to do with you or anybody else so wind you neck in, as we say!
Yep, military personnel, I was one myself, would never consider paying for sex! How much does he pay you Annika?
I get payed in tax-free Martini`s:):):)
Actually I dont need meal-ticket, so OLD woman as me stands in her feet usually, other way I would date men from USA, they have investments and they support girls they hardly know monthly as I read in that board! British men are more I havent any money but I still get layed types:):):)Exept Martin of course, you are very supportive and renovate flats, very positive.
Are you for real Annika or are you just pulling my leg, are you really such a boring person that your life revolves around the television and reading glossy magazines?
How about shopping? Aw, come on be honest, I bet you like that also, you're just pretending.
To be honest I never thaught literature might be magazines:)
I ment literature as Jane Austen or something that...
And I still recommend everybody to read the book "Molvania", have you read that Martin, you are in travel business!

Spirit,
As much as I like you, I think there is some kind of imbalance or flatulent misadjustment in your, value scale.
There is something wrong or missing at the individual level if we do not want to take advantage of and assume the responsibilities the available opportunities our capitalistic system offers.
There is absolutely nothing worng with the loving the idea of being rich financially just as much as we want to have a rich family life, a rich healthy life and a rich spiritual life.
Where I see poor souls go fubar is when they neglect any of those areas in order to achieve any of the others.
2 hours 14 minutes without referring to money Annika, Bravo!
Now try again, come on, put a little more effort into it, we realise it's an addiction but it's for your own good, let's see if you can make the 3 hours mark.
Love that word--flatulate. I am inflatulated to the point of all inflatulence. I am even liking my current state of inflatulation!!I agree to balance, and in a certain sense, moderation in all things. I however value people over money and possessions. I love the native american practice of the giveaway-- on the premise that when you give with all heart and without compromise, you will be rewarded and given to ten-fold. This practice was not only "leaning oneself of the fattiness of excess",it was meant to exemplify a certain detachment from the love of ones self, the generosity to others, and the cleansing of the physical self. Often the things given would be moccasins, tipi skins, horses, and food vassals. It would all be given away in honor of the giver. This is the spirit of Santa Claus ( Ded Moroz). It is almost that gluttinous time of the year when children will deftly shuck/rip their presents from care-wrapped foil, and pending material approval, will toss the lesser presents over their shoulders. This is the same as adults, because we live in a disposable world where values, decency, and respect compete with the opportunistic glut for materiality and self-gifting attitudes. Comfort, happiness, and security do not depend on money, they are elaborated by it only. As again I indirectly quote Thoreau, "If the survival of a person is dependent on their body heat maintaining a temperature of 98.6 degrees, then some people are veritably boiling over " For this purpose I search for the woman who wants simple creature comforts first, because I know how excited she will be to receive simple creature accessories, such as bubble bath, perfume, a well-stocked pantry, and maybe the occasional opera. She will not be dragging me into Bloomingdales for a 5000 dollar fur, which is hardly as warm as the LL Bean parka which sells for a fraction of that price. Nothing wrong with money--again it is love of money which distorts principles and practices. This is why finances have ruined so many relationships--whether it was lack of money or the excess of it. It is still a leading cause of marriage dissolutions. Okay--I own a truck,a car,20 acres of property in Montana, every tool you would ever need for carpentry or plumbing, plus the skills to use each tool, and all the items in my home.I hunt, fish, and provide happily for others--even now as a single man. This makes me happy--to know I can afford to care about the greater good of my beloved people. What more is there? Just the woman---who wants home coziness, support and respect, children, and a husband who devotes himself to family and does not cheat on her. My needs are few and simple also, and always will be. And God bless a needy person too,in the hopes that they can amend their lusts for more stuff, and be happy with what they have that so many others do not.
Jane Austin real literature, surely you jest Annika. Also comparing Toad to Milton Friedman is about the same as Comparing G. Gordon Liddy to Jesus Christ.
Annika you need to find a hobby besides blowing smoke up everyone's ass here.
I am in a moral dilemna,Toad. I am lacking a certain woman. I have been seeing a really nice lady for some time now. She is definitely unlike the stereotypical American woman. She is not vain-glorious or selfish, does not condescend or bitch. I told her up front that I am searching for a particular woman, and that this woman speaks Russian. Also that I am not interested in a long-term relationship with her She was hurt by this, and confused, and of course I am torn by her despair. She cannot have kids, and I cannot bear to hurt her,but I do not love her the way a man should, and there is a sliver stuck in my normally happy countenance . I have told her I am going to Ukraine, and she accepts this, but she will be in agony when I do go,as will my mother and daughter. I feel like I am such a fortunate person--I have done anything and everything that I have sought to do. I have so much in life, yet I feel empty too. I tend to go for women who need repair, and this is another reason I am shooting for the moon---going further outside of my element then ever before. When I think of vacation--I have been everywhere in America. I need fresh input. WHen I think of women--I think similiarly--I want the most uniquely different and satisfying experience from a woman, not the same old shtick. As much as I am easily satisfied, there is the ironic and huge hole in my soul which will never be at peace until I go to the extreme limit of my search. Maybe you or some of the guys here have felt this way before? Are you still driven by the desire? I know that when I decide to do something,I always follow through. You have followed through, and experienced more than what money,a good book,or this forum could teach you. I have not pursued any women from Fiance.com for a long time now,but I attend the boards for enlightenment, wisdom, and experience from you and many others here. And,one more time--I am given what money cannot buy through the benefit of so much collective knowledge. I apologize for muddying up the topic of earning and spending money.
Nasfan, Jane Austen is founder of modern novel, her books are among best from XIX century. Lots of writers popular in last centuries are now forgotten or kids literature (Walter Scott, Fenimore Cooper for example. We cant say it about Jane Austen.
Nasfan, sorry, to ruin your party, but I studied literature in university:):):)Did you? What is "real" literature in your opinion?
Milton Friedman was as compliment actually! Did you liked it Toad?
Annika,
Do you not have it in yourself to provide a constructive conversation, perhaps even pertinent to East/West information or do you utilise 100% of your brain cell raising argument(s) against what others have said or indeed criticizing others by your repeated misinterpretations, perhaps through jealousy, of what others have said.
If your English isn't good enough to clearly understand others then perhaps, just perhaps, you might consider keeping your gob shut.
Thats why I am in that board to develop my english and brain cells:):) And learn about west-east realtionship, if here is something to learn...
Is Jane Austen seriuos literature or not...literature professors have other opinion than Nasfan, so other members are the same, ready to critizise...if Annika said something its automatically wrong! So you cant accuse me that Im only one who is not constructive:):)
Im trying to not speak about income, so literature is topic I sort of know. Elena Petrovas book was book Iv seen people mentioned several times so Im trying to hold conversation:):)
But maybe you are right...I cant wait topics what are constructive:)
Earning and spending money isnt that:)
Books like Jane Austen`s,or even Cooper and Dickens, exemplify English contemporary society in the 19th Century. They are serious literature for students of english, but, like Melville`s works, can be terribly boring. Consider the chapter in "Moby Dick" which describes the `narwhale and right whale. Good stuff to read if you are suffering from insomnia.
