When we use the word "scammer" it can mean lots of different things. Yes there are conventional "con-man" scams that involve credit cards and such, but those are more suspicious and recognizable by most people. It is possible that the person sending the e-mail isn't really a girl at all. It is possible that the sender is just a guy that has some photos to send. It could be his girlfriend or some random girl, who knows. The photo itself might even be trouble because it could have a Trojan embedded. I've got several Trojans on my computer right now. I have no idea from where they came, could be from any of the photos "girls" have sent to me. These Trojans are hard to find and even harder to get rid of: Virtumonde.dll, Zlob.downloader.bs, smitfraud and probably more I can't even see. They really slow a machine down. Or, the scammer could be phishing for active e-mail accounts. The purpose here would be to add your e-mail address to a list that he can sell. It's not all bad though. I met my last wife through a dating site. Our marriage lasted about six years and the first four years were really excellent. Even the divorce was amicable, didn't cost me anything more than legal fees (had a great pre-nup though :-)) Anyway, we met online, then met in person in Germany while she was there on vacation. I then went to visit here several times in the Ukraine and Bulgaria. It really worked out well for both of us; certainly better than the American woman I married on my first go-around. I'm out there looking again. Now, since the orange revolution in the Ukraine, Americans don't even need a visa. The Russian visa is still a bit of a bitch to get. I'm not sure about the Chinese visa but those women are really responsive to e-mails- kinda creepy actually. I mean, when I e-mail them they respond within a day or so, sometimes within hours. Almost like they are being compelled by force to reply. I mean, in a country that men outnumber women, it seems odd to me that women would be online in the first place, let alone responding so quickly to dating sites. So I run accidently into this web and it really opened my eyes.. I was about to fall in love with a very pretty girl who sends me he pics always..After 9 emails, her story is that she accidently had a bike accident, she did not hurt, but her bike and cell phones were broke! You bet! You know the rest of the story..she wanted ( in a very nice and romantic way) some money so she can call me and thank me in person!..I am playing with this girl now..THANKS TO WHOEVER CREATED THIS SITE, AND TO WHOEVER PUT THEIR FEEDBACK!
