A local honey from originally Slovakia told me the machine pronunciation is of good quality. She came with me to buy it and we tried every language we knew...7 in total.
even if the other 3 suck, I think I got a good deal
I was with the X FSU soon to be wife, visiting a language school to arrange some lessons for her.
We met the teacher who realy sacred the sh*t out of me !!!
She looked exactly like, and spoke Exactly like Ruby Wax !!
It was really quite un nerving !!!
What was even stranger was that this lady spoke extremly good English, even though she sounded exactly like Ms Wax, but she had Never in her life been to any country where English is the spoken language !!
And of course translating machines should speak US English, ...there are approximately 200,000,000 more of us than you Queenish limeys, lol...
From the marketing prespective, it makes sense to appeal to the largest target population.
Tim, try the Lingo Pacifica Talk...it speak the british english, it even scoffs at the end of each sentence, lol...
