*My last post on this subject. Wind you are not the arbiter of whether advice is good or not. You clearly dont understand economics. There are significant cost savings that can be had determining cheaply whether a lady is serious or not rather than wasting significant dollars (and emotional energy) going to see her in her home town even if this is usually good sense. It is a matter of circumstance that can not be generalised and as Martin has put there can be other alternatives.* GD the point is not about economics, okay for some it may be, but just for a second look at it this way. If you have a child that acts up or misbehaves, do you reward that behavior with gifts & candy or do you punish the child & reprimand him/her? Or a thief robs a store and steal money & items, should the courts reward that behavior with cash & more gifts or punish the criminal severly? I look at giving money to scam agencies in the same way, they are thieves & con artists, by you or others continueing to send them money, you are rewarding their behavior & affirming that what they are doing is okay. Lets face it, if they were operating in the US or Canada they would be in jail, period. All I am saying is "don't reward bad behavior'! In the end it helps no one but hurts many. I apologize for attacking you earlier in this thread, that is beneath me. I just get so emotional about this issue that at times I lose my perspective. I run an honest shop & I struggle to survive, all the while all around me I see the thieves getting rich. It is frustrating & totally demeaning to everything I am trying to accomplish. This industry needs to be cleaned up, big time, but that clean up has to start with you, the clients. No matter how attracted you are to a woman at a shdy agency, you should avoid it at all costs or at least avoid sending them money. Cut off the flow of money & they will quickly be out of buisness or forced to clean up their act. Don't reward them by helping them to continue ripping people off, make them pay for their bad behavior & reward the honest agencies with your buisness.

Ok one last comment! Wind, apology accepted and reciprocated. I agree there is not much point name calling each other. Those of us who have experience in this game all have value in their experiences to share. I dont advocate sending significant amounts of money to these ladies, it is preferable to meet and several times, which for many is a big committment. What I have basically been trying to point out is where you have an opportunity to put a lady to the test in a practical manner it is worth considering depending on your individual circumstances. In this case if she is asking for money for a visa it is not very expensive to pay for it and get her to send a scanned copy of the passport, visa and receipt. If there is suddenly a crisis forcing her to spend the money on something else then give her the flick.

One of you guys probably know Veronika, or Aleks, or a multitude of others... :)) Don't you understand some fool is making photos of ladies, giving them $20 for the photos and then writing letters to you? How many times do you think you've told Boryii, or Aleksandr, or Oleg that you want to sleep with him? Please! Why does everyone always think it is some woman scamming them? Use your brain, that's why God gave it to you... DON'T SEND MONEY UNTIL AFTER YOU'VE CHECKED THINGS OUT!!! In almost every case, if the lady is serious, she will cover the cost of letters, translations, etc on her own. In most cases if you get asked for money... IT IS A SCAM!!! There is no such thing as a medical problem in the FSU that is in dire need of cash... remember socialized medicine? It is still there! Cost of an average letter from the internet cafe is approximately 40 to 80 cents (this is from her to you) It costs you nothing to write her! No borefukka my business is a Classified Historian and a small company , antiques etc supply company - NICE FAT - COME IN SPINNER - CASH COW !
