Should not be a problem if you tell the truth. If she asks you why you are on internet tell her the truth.....I could not find someone to share my life with at home, so I decided to search the world for my partner....... that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!!! There is an Embassy in England so if needed you can get it from there. I am English have been in and out of Moldova for 14 years, the people are good and the country o.k My Moldovan woman of 13 years loves my country and her own. When i was first in Moldova there was no other westerners so to be one was a big attraction. Now 25% of Moldovans live in other countrys so they have many choices. They lovthe English (well the girls do) because we know how to look after them. Their own men at best beat them. It seems there is a lot of confusion both on this forum and in general about whether I need a visa or not to enter Moldova , I guess I will have to ring the Embassy as you suggest and be on the phone for hours waiting for an answer...lol I am pleased to hear that the Moldovan people and the women , in particular , like the English guys because I am a good guy.., my only problem is that I like everything to go my way (don't we all) My major concern is trying to persuade the girl to leave her country and move to mine !! I will tell you again you need a visa we are English and do not get a feebe like the Yanks its 60 euros, I was in Moldova a few weeks ago with my kids and nothing has changed. Down load the form from www.moldova.org fill it in on the plain, you do not need photo just your hard earned cash. If you are a nice guy collect some of the uneaten food from the plain and give it to the beggers when they come up to your car window at traffic lights. I have been doing this for years and its ok. As for living in Moldova why not? Answer that if you can. I am a Moldavian young lady who was in the situation you are describing. I suggest that if you are looking for a solemate, you go and see your girl!!!!!!!!!!! Moldovan people have values that other nations don't value so much. That is why my American husband came to Moldova 5 times during one year to be with me. We have a wonderful relationship. We are married for over a year now. Moldovan people aren't so desperate to leave the country as you were saying. No, they don't wanna leave. They have to leave. As for your girl, if you guys fall madly in love with each other, she will move to England, as I did moving to USA with my husband. I will tell you the truth, we are contemplating moving to an eastern european country in the future. As for visa, there is an ambasador at the Airport who gives you the visa before exiting the customs. My husband always applied for a visa at the Moldovian Embassy in USA, which I am sure should be in England, too. Maybe you should find one in England and they can answer all your questions.
