I dont think meeting a nice woman is as complicated as our stereotypes and fantasies we bring into meeting a overseas person. people from different nations always struggle with stereotypes or images from other nations. Websites for westerners , are like Hollywood for non-americans. the websites portray Ukraine/Russian ladies as some supernatural beauty with glorious characters and deep levels of love and romance. Slavic women can be good or bad. pretty or not so pretty. honest or not honest. romantic or cold. just like any other nation. the best way is to start with a clean and open mind about who you are and what you desire. then meet ladies and have sincere communications. dont have pre-conceived ideas. dont see the woman as a image.then you can see her for who she is. then you can decide if what you see is good or bad for you. they are normal women with every level of greatness or flaws. a healthy relationship starts with a healthy state of mind.
level of living in russian families is lower than in ukrainian ones????? and there r many kids in ukrainian families, at least more than in russian??? oh, i m surprised to hear this. they say just vica versa but u must know that better:)))
and its rather bold to devide russian and ukrainian women on the basis of who earns and who encourages:) i just wonder if it has been discussed in any magazines, or how this opinion has been reached?:)
sorry, but its just what i think abt this. i think the way i oppposed is also quite bold:)
This is the part many American guys don't pay attention to. Yes you can be responsible for her for up to 10 years. Since you are married the I134 no longer applies. Here's what you may have forgotten in your I864 change of status.
What If I Do Not Fulfill My Obligations?
If you do not provide sufficient support to the person who becomes a permanent resident based on the Form I-864 that yousigned, that person may sue you for this support.
If a Federal, State or local agency, or a private agency provides any covered means-tested public benefit to the person whobecomes a permanent resident based on the Form I-864 that you signed, the agency may ask you to reimburse them for theamount of the benefits they provided. If you do not make the reimbursement, the agency may sue you for the amount thatthe agency believes you owe.
If you are sued, and the court enters a judgment against you, the person or agency that sued you may use any legallypermitted procedures for enforcing or collecting the judgment. You may also be required to pay the costs of collection,including attorney fees.
If you do not file a properly completed Form I-865 within 30 days of any change of address, USCIS may impose a civilfine for your failing to do so.
When Will These Obligations End?
Your obligations under a Form I-864 will end if the person who becomes a permanent resident based on a Form I-864 thatyou signed:
Becomes a U.S. citizen;
Has worked, or can be credited with, 40 quarters of coverage under the Social Security Act;
No longer has lawful permanent resident status, and has departed the United States;
Becomes subject to removal, but applies for and obtains in removal proceedings a new grant of adjustment of status,based on a new affidavit of support, if one is required; or
Dies.
Note that divorce does not terminate your obligations under this Form I-864.
Your obligations under a Form I-864 also end if you die. Therefore, if you die, your Estate will not be required to takeresponsibility for the person's support after your death. Your Estate may, however, be responsible for any support thatyou owed before you died.
I a bit worried about my friend. He got engaged in the Ukraine through a dating agency. The agency is now asking him to go back and get more photos, including naked photos with the girl in bed, to assist him in getting a fiance visa for her. Im just not sure about the request for naked photos. It sounds like a scam to me.
For an agency to ask for naked photos of the couple, shows a complete absence of integrity! I would question the girl’s integrity too!!
This could be some blackmail scheme too! It sounds 100% rotten!!
Tell him to; Make like a Sheppard and get the flock out of there!!!!
i would be even more worried if the greezy little photographer started playing with himself.
juliet, give your friend a bloody good slapping for been taken for a ride this long.
scam? whats the definition of a scam? A fraudulent business scheme; a swindle
well welcome to ukraine russian agencys
How is this any different from women in all other parts of the world.. American women are notorious for this.
If you are not willing to put in the effort and money into a woman then stop looking. It is all about them, just the facts. What you have to do is meet one that you can accomodate her demands and needs emotional , physical , and economical. If she responds to this by meeting your needs then game on if not drop them.
If a woman seems high maintenance and that is not what you want then move along. Just remember the more attractive the woman the more demanding they can be. It is just the way it is.. Just like the more attractive a man is the more unfaithful he is said to be.
don't bash ukranian women or any women for that matter.
Voten,,, is your reply directed to the whole thread which started in 2008, or to Juliet’s post from last week??
Once upon a time,,, we all knew the difference between right and wrong!! These Ukrainian girls don’t know the difference, and they don’t ever care to!!! Before my trips to Ukraine, I never knew such deceptive women existed!!! I can’t write the words that describe them,,, it would not be approved!!
im living with a Lithuanian girl and we have neighbours here that are ukranian ,latvian, polish.
We often sit down to talk and drink some vodka/coffee. All of the girls say that they never think to marry a western man, if they do its just for money. They like to stick to what they know.
hello want to go to ukranian to meet some lady i meet over dateing site. She want me to get invite visa whats that sounds like a scamm what to you think thanks pump
If the girl wants you to pay for an invite to get into the Ukraine,,,,, then yes, it is a scam!! People from most countries don’t need a visa to get into Ukraine. Russia is another story, you need an invite from a tour company or a hotel to get your visa approved.
If the girl wants you to pay for her invite and tourist visa to get into the US,,, be careful! You are responsible for them while they are here! If they get into trouble or get hurt or sick,,, you are responsible!
It is very difficult for women from Russia, Ukraine or any other FSU country to get a tourist visa into the US!
If you are going to meet a girl in Ukraine, search online for her name and email address! Check on Vk and facebook for her! Talk with her directly, and if possible, have a video chat on Skype! Make sure she is a real person, and not a make believe person created by an agency!!
