If I wanted to, I could organise myself and go to Ukraine, create a relatiosnhip with a woman that goes to a fiance visa and marriage and do it in one trip of 30 days.
Its just marriage is not on my agenda at the moment and having babies is definitely not on, I don't want any more kids ( my 3 teenagers cause me enough problems ).
I don't understand men who do multiple trips there and date multiple women expecting to find a bride..it does not work.
You need to find, create and build a relationship with a single woman in Ukraine over the internet, in mail and on the telephone before you do the personal visit to her and know about her sufficiently before you do a visit to see if there is the likelehood you ahve things in common with her..it takes time to develop this, at least 6 months of correspondence/telephoning before the visit.
For the Australian fiance visa ( prospective spouse sub-class 300 visa ), it is expected you would have known your foreign partner to be at least 6 months before you visit her, have copies of e-mail correspondence, telephone bills etc. as well as proof of your visit to her country along with photos of you and her together and statements from her friends and family as supporting evidence for a visa..they ( being the authorities ) would like to know "how you meet her and how the relationship formed which lead to the meeting".
They do not always ask for this evidence at our Moscow embassy but she might be asked to produce it at her application interview..it depends very much on the immigration case officer and the merits of each individual case.
A shotgun correspondence visit of only 1 month letter writing beforehand followed by a 1 week visit to her is very likely to fail on a Australian fiance visa application, they will not accept it as a "genuine relationship with intent to marry" due to insufficient supporting evidence..TREAT THIS LIKE A LAWYER TREATS A CRIMINAL CASE BEFORE HE GOES TO COURT TO DEFEND IT..PREPARE A GOOD, SOLID, THOROUGH BRIEF OF EVIDENCE BEFOREHAND TO SUPPORT YOUR CASE..DO THOROUGH AND GOOD GROUND WORK..NOT A RUSH, SHOTGUN JOB AND YOU WILL SUCCEED!
Many of you guys here have no idea how to go about this, successfully jump the immigration hurdles..you must play by the authorities rules, not do short cuts or make up your own rules as you go along and hope to succeed because you won't!
I can easily do this if I wanted to ( I choose not because marriage does not appeal to me th this point in my life but life moves on and things do change ), my head is screwed on the right way and I am very level headed and practical..many Ukraine women would like this..a sensible man with common sense and a cool head and not grown men that behave like toddlers what seems to happen in here.
It can be easy if you have the know how and maturity to do it..Ukraine girls want strong, sensible, gentlemen who are faithful and not players!
aussieman,
If you could ever find it in yourself to make your one, referred to, trip then you would be known as a 'One Trip Wonder'.
It is simply not possible to develop any pre-marital kind of relationship via internet, telephone etc. It's merely talk, and often bullshit, as if when writing one's CV/Resume when applying for a job, then when the guy travels over then all she has to do, if she so wishes to do so, is pass the interview and hey presto, meal ticket achieved.
Two people only get to know each other once they are together, I've known it myself in the past, several months of letters & telephone and literally as soon as we were together I knew that it wasn't going to work, it's all about body language, things in common with each other, sharing similar senses of humour etc. and these cannot be detected long distance particularly if there is a language barrier.
If you seriously think that within 30 days of meeting a lady that you will know her well enough to propose to occupy the rest of your lives together then you need a serious reality check. Many an American, as an example, thinks a similar way and I heard the divorce rate of such 'One Trip Wonders' was something like 95% although I stand to be corrected on this.
But how many ladies and men, when dating in their own backyard, marry their first boyfriend or girlfriend? Only a minute percentage do so and for a very good reason ..... because they realise that 'love' is not present or they are not compatable for other reasons. Boy/girl relationships work the same wherever one may be and it not simply a case of jumping on an aeroplane, wait a few weeks, and hey presto.
Nobody should ever travel to FSU looking for a 'bride', one should travel there hoping to meet a nice lady, develop a relationship of a minimum few months and if things are going well then .....
Bloody wrong..yes it is. I did in the days before internet using snail mail and the telephone and a 1 month visit to her country followed by a 12 year marriage.
It can be done..you don't write for months, 6 months is the timeframe from start to personal visit ( it includes time taken to organise it, Australians require visas to the Ukraine and other FSU countries, this can take 3 weeks to get and if you want to come on "a private invitation" visa, thats a special class of visa for Ukraine other than the standard tourist visa, she has to do a lot on her end with the invitation letter and register things with the authorities, there, as one of my e-mail pen friends put it, it takes much "grit and patience" to get it done so it does take time, a private visa invitation letter will take more than 4 weeks to organise and then you submit that what she sends you to the Ukraine embassy here who issue the visa for a fee...Australians don't get an automatic 3 month visa to Ukraine like EU and USA travellers..we have to apply through diplomatic/bureacratic channels before hand to get one BEFORE hoping on the plane..its not that simple!
Some of you ( I won't mention names ) don't know nothing, speaking for Australians its a different ball game for us and "so called Aussie pretenders who advocate in here short cutting our immigration system for a fiance visa" are fooken leading genuine Aussies who visit here up the garden path.
For the real Aussie visitors who come here, just PM me here and I will tell you the truth of it and how to make it happen without wasting thousands of dollars, lots of time and not listening to clowns in here that will lead you up the garden path to nowhere and leave you very sorely out of pocket and a looser...bad advice leads to bad failures!
What a joke...tourist visas for Ukraine/Russian FSU to come to Australia to meet a man here..it just won't happen, maybe 1 in 20 women who apply will get one and it will be on the basis she has significant assets/family ties to compel her to return to her country and not breach the rules of the visa.
How many fooken times do I have to tell people ( in regard to Australia ) that theres nothing to stop her marrying you here on a tourist visa..THE PROBLEM IS THE RULES DON'T ALLOW FOR CHANGE OF STATUS ON A TOURIST VISA and she will have to leave the country ( or be deported ) and she will have to go home and apply for a SPOUSE VISA to re-enter Australia which will take 12 months or more and the rules of it are "you have to live with her 12 months outside Australia to satisfy the requirements of being a spouse before she is allowed to enter here"
You are fooking yourself up big time by attempting marriage to a foreign girl on a tourist visa because she won't be allowed to stay here, its is likely it will be viewed as an attempt to circumvent immigration procedures by means of a sham marriage or marriage of convenience, it will be very costly and time consuming to re-apply outside Australia for a spouse visa.
One of my lady friends went to Eygypt and married an Egyptian guy in a legallly recognised marriage but she could not bring him home..she has to go live with him in Eygypt for 12 months to satisfy the "the 12 month living together requirement" before she can get a spouse or him and only then can he came here..same thing happens if you try to marry a foreign girl on a toursit visa on Australian soil..it will be get out, apply overseas to re-enter as a spouse satisfy this visas requirements which are far different than a fiance visa for Oz.
The rules in Australia are inflexible and applied vigorously, tourist visa does not allow for change of status to resident on the basis of marriage.
Wake up people..stop leading people up the garden path to a pile of shit!
I am a super genius and one trip wonder, Martin..I can do it in 30 days if I wanted too..it requires careful selection of the type of women I write to, laying the bedrock over a 4 to 6 month period with a number of girls, then analysing it and selecting the best prospect for a personal visit and just visit the one girl.
I choose not be active since last year and don't write or contact new foreign girls, its not my time for marriage yet and more kids are definitely off the agenda for me too..I simply don't want anymore and the girl has to agree to a norplant contraceptive hormonal device in her arm before I agree to marry her, not the bloody pill, implant first, then marriage and I pay for the implant when she comes to Australia on a fiance visa and my pants don't come off until it takes, about 4 to 6 weeks.
Yoda is cofident..he knows the ways of the force..most of you guys here are apprentices and have a lot to learn.
Martin, people work..you simply can't have a few months off from work to go for a visit to the FSU..you can only do it when you get your annual leave ( generally 4 weeks a year or 5 weeks if you are a night shift worker )..if you wan't your bloody job, you just can't say to the boss, "hey I am taking 3 months off work to go to Ukraine to meet girls and try and find a wife"..he will say, "o.k, resign now and we will give your job to someone else!"
How stupid..what a ultra moron!
aussieman,
At the time I started dating my wife I got 4 weeks holiday each year, I could take some 2 days of that holiday to have the long break pre-Christmas till post New Year and for the other 3 and a bit weeks I would combine these with public holidays and, all in all, I could take 4 or 5 trips of one week (ish) each to FSU per year.
I never suggested that one occupy a few months, constantly, with a lady, one does need to get away to think with a clear head regarding such an important step thus I would argue against such a period constantly together.
OK, it was easy and not too bad on costs for me to travel 4 or 5 times per year, I had assessed this before I even decided on looking in FSU, it's no so geographically easy for Aussies, Americans etc. but if it prevents them from conducting as near normal a relationship as is possible then they should have thought of that before setting out on the venture.
And the costs and travel don't end once married, it's a lifetime commitment of the lady travelling to her home country every so often, perhaps once or twice a year, and because I get on so well with my in-laws etc. I like to travel there at least one time a year also.
I pity you shlong, you were probably in love but I am afraid that you were in love with your own imagination or lived in your own dream. Now that you have woken up, I hope that this punishment would be a valuable lesson for you in the future. I just regret that there are so many dishonest people around and pretend to be righteous and honest. And shlong, I don't think you are too stupid for Russian or Ukrainian women as Julia says because there are enough genuine women around with a good heart (and I speak from experience), but she has reason that you are too easy too be fooled and I think that you should be more careful in the future when they ask for your money.
Andrew with all my respect and love to you I still insist that shlong is not smart enough for Russian or Ukrainian women.
Shlong I don't want to offend you, I just want to help you through realizing that you must collect enough brains before you try again. Maybe this experience will really help you
Attention....Andrew & Julia....shlong is a prank from young aussie nooga......
Should have read thread from beginning.........Are you two together???...as in joined at hips??????
have a go at yourselves, no one has heard of you before, you are talking about shlong as if he is real, now you're setting 'julia' up to be a 'ukrainian princess'
I like to see a Ukraine lady of 20 something apply for a tourist visa to Australia on her own merits with no support or invitation and prove she succeeded..the embassy will happily take the non-refundable application fee for a visa around $100 usd from her but they wont nine times out of 10 give her a tourist visa..it will be the very exceptional circumstance of the far above average Ukrainian rich girl that will get one.
I don't want to argue with you, Danny..if it was that simple to get a tourist visa to Oz for a Ukraine/FSU women, I would have done it a long time ago...its cheaper for us to bring them out here for a visit than for us to go to there countries and get ripped off/scammed/taken advantage off because we are westerners.
Unfortunately things are not that simple and easy in Oz...nothing in Oz is simple...too much Government regulation and rules..I am waiting for the day they bring out legislation that limits how much a person can fart a day before he has to pay a carbon or green house emission taxs on it!
Australia is becoming a socialist state..even to open a new bank account here nowdays is a feat in meeting the ID and beauracratic hops you have to jump through to convince them its not a criminal account opened for the purposes of laundering money etc...tax file numbers, child support agency that has more power than the FBI,Australia ID card the shit here goes on and on!
