Here is a guy who's character consists of having a go at my nationality and doesn't like it when HE comes under the microscope.. Here is martin giving his professional and unquestionable opinion on tours and the expert has never been to one??? I'm sure his is relying on information from his befriended 'mate' who owns an agency.. And he calls what i say about him and he's hypocritical ways, 'a cheap shot'.. I cannot remember saying in my threads that she never turned up on the first night. I will have to go back and have a look.. I had 9 dates with the woman, but only every 3 days..She works 24 hours and then has 2 days off..She also is doing university... In between dates i would get a map of Nikolaev out and walk to a different area that i hadn't been before... The shopping day was i thought would be a full day..Like, have a look around the city and go to a museum, coffee or something like that.. The shopping day was so i could ask her questions about her city and about the history, architecture, etc.. If it was the other way around and she was in Australia, i would take her to different places on interest..I thought this behavior would be normal.. Nasfan, i went out the the district that she lives in..Kulbakino district..I went out there because when i was looking at Nikolaev on 'google' it showed a military airport located right next door..I like military planes.. I didn't go too close to the military airport because i had a camera with me, but i crossed the street that she lives in by 'mistake', accident and i read the street sign.. About 400 meters from this street is a old Russian plane on static display and i took a photo of it...This plane she would see every single day, because i noticed that there was only one road going into the district and one road out.. In my letters to her, i attached the photo of the plane and she never said a single word..This was very odd.. She gave me her home address and her mobile phone number( which i rang her on while i was still in Australia)... But, even before i leave Ukraine to come home, her and i agreed that we a in a relationship and after my trip, in her letters to me, she describes me as her partner and even gives me her bank account details to deposit money into, but this doesn't stop her from updating her profile on ualadys.com, 4-6 weeks after my arrival home and i noticed her logging into her 1st. international site nearly every second day in September...September was the month that she gave me her bank account details... This is the reason why i started the forum topic about her and to warn other men not to waste their money on this woman..I have noticed that when you 'google' her name, it comes up under this forum thread.. But I'm sure Olga and martin will come up with an excuse that it was my fault for being scammed... . When you mentioned sense of adventure, i guess there is only so much you can see in a city by walking on foot and me, not speaking much Russian language, placed limits on what i could do... But i did managed to visit Odessa, Sevastopol, Simferopol, Kiev and Uman.. I was in the same boat as you a while ago; you're wondering what the hell happened and looking for some reason or rhyme to whatever her motives are. Upshot of the whole thing is that you got burned...it's no crime and can happen to the best of us. You went there with good intentions and met someone who had their eye on the main chance. You can look for the all the convolutions and speculate for ever on what she is or was up to, but from where I’m sitting you got burned. Best thing to do is move on and forget her. Don’t blame yourself, don’t sit on the sidelines being pissed off, Been there, done that. You went and met this woman for a reason…probably the same reason most of us go there. You had your own motives It takes a lot of effort to really know and understand ones own self. Most folks aren't aware of that need. Many can't or won't put forth the effort to do so. Some expend all their effort on weird and ridiculously complicated scenarios. Then they wonder "why?" all the time. Every notebook power supply I have seen works with 100-220 volt. Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 4/19/2009 4:43:46 PM   gecko: You can get a collection of outlet adapters as well as a voltage adapter (not the same thing by the way) at Walmart in the travel section if you don't have a local Radio Shack (Radio Shacks are getting hard to find TOO). Just remember - you don't NEED a votage adpter for your notebook/laptop - if you do plug your computer in though a votage adapter it will likely overheat and cause a strong smell of burning plastic and will have to be unplugged frequently. (Trust me. I know.
