But AFTER logging-in (using my e-mail and password) it takes me to my profile page - which is all in Russian. I have been using 'translate.google.com' to help, but this is quite a tedious process. Strangely, at the top of the page it says "You are using an outdated browser", even though my computer is new (IE 8). I would appreciate it if you could give a more detailed explanation on how best to navigate vkontakte - in English. There are several ways to verfiy the sincerity of real profile. Google "scammers" or "scam" & you will find many good professional websites. Secondly register many agencies & search for the same girl on different websites & if you find the same girl on many websites than you already know or have idea about what you are getting into. It is just advice for those to find out why a girl has been on a dating site for so long period of time! It takes only one correspondence to begin a fruitful relationship. Why waste precious time on her? Why waste money on correspondence on her? Why put in the effort write letters everyday for something that is not there? Why call her in the first place? I received one that was obviously a scam and googled it, sure enough, it had been used by multiple scammers for 4 years. I approached the gal about it and she said she had such poor English and was impressed by it so she tried to adjust it to be from her. I told her anyone checking the letter would think she was a criminal or an idiot. After a few letter, the BS ended and I found her to be very different, and nicer than who she was pretending to be. I knew she was telling the truth when she got mad and her weak english showed. Just an example. 2) tineye.com. This site looks up photos and tells you if it can be found elsewhere on the internet. i found some USA women who were on dating sites were strippers, and one was a russian from A_Date. It turns out that whole site was a scam and none of the women were real.
