It's likely just a test from them to see if you're serious about visiting than simply being a pen pal which in itself is nice. I like to take my time to make sure that I am making the best decision of the choices available and that probably took me a month to figure out before I was certain. If your instinct says everything is okay, then it most likely is IMO. Good luck with the trip, you're certainly moving quick. There are lots of net cafes there, so if you need us, you know you can find us :o)) As I have said in other posts, I try to get there and meet the girl I am dedicated to writing to as soon as possible, I dont think months of writing letters is really conducive to actually knowing anyone, better to meet them face to face, and after all if it was the girl down the road you wouldnt write to her for months before you dated her !! You would ask her out for dinner and see how it went from there. Thats eaxctly what I do, but I fly to the FSU to do it. If I could be with Natash now I would be, (but this house sale has grounded me for a week or two more yet) I started writing to her end of Jan' so that gives you my idea of when 2 people should meet, asap as far as Im concerned, and fortunatly for me Im in a position to work this way coz I work for myself. Of cousre I appreciate that not everyone is that fortunate, but I strongly recommend not leeving it too long or you may miss the boat, and someone else might beat you to meeting the girl of your dreams. What's stopping you from leaving your house affairs to someone else to resolve whilst you jump on the plane for a week? Can't signatures and various agreements be faxed? Sometimes, we just can't physically drop everything we're obligated to although having said that, for the woman of your/my dreams the issue would be rather moot and everything would be dropped. It's an exciting time either way and, yes, one that shouldn't be dragged out. So from the point of the first letter to meeting, you think it'll be about 10 weeks before you meet Natasha? I am probably looking at the same time-frame, 10 - 12 weeks all being well, and I am now getting my head stuck into learning the lingo which also gives enough time for both of us to familiarize ourselves with customs/language etc, so when we meet we're better prepared when together than rush headstrong into the unknown and struggle. Right now we are both thoroughly enjoying the bond that has occured in the last 2 weeks and building upon it. My heart skips a beat when I get her letters, losing breath momentarily. It only adds to the anticipation and desire to see each other and so long as you're clear about the situation, it's easier to manage and get into perspective. I had to resurrect this thread as I've just had my second phone call with **** <I'm not giving a name out with you vultures about. lol>, 2 1/2 half hours of sheer heavenly delight with my sweetheart that to not be able to talk to her would be unimaginable - I don't know how you can't do this. If we get stuck or misunderstand each other, we have to blow the other a kiss, that's a fair bit of kissing 150 minutes! Of course Del' I alreday have a lot of lingo from pst trips and being married to a Russian lady, so I have that small advantage. I think I know what you mean. my girl aka **** has a rating of 4 but I'd give her a 7. Her confidence and personality shine through the difficulties that inevitably do occur from time to time but that's disguised and quickly passed by with the game of blowing a kiss.
