I remember most of the words from movies. If there is something interesting in the movie, you can replay it as often as you want. That’s how I remember. I have Russian language lessons on cassette too,, but I fall asleep after just 5 minutes. Better?? So get some iTunes or a MP3 player while running a 5k !!! Hit the source, VK, FB, Mamba or any other free sites and play the field. Went to McDonalds, walked around by river, messed around, drank some beer and they showed me how flexible they were;) They wanted me to choose which one I liked most and I said I liked all 4 of them and would simply take all 4 out again (Im obviously having 4 on 1 thoughts,lol) I met them at the bus stop on graduation day. You can meet girls anywhere in Ukraine if you are attractive and have good personality. In fact, those girls came up to me. If you see one you like and she is alone or with some friends just go up to her and try your luck. Worst that can happen is she says "go away" kaiserdag is right, it DOES pay to learn Russian even if its just the basics. Girls like it that you are interested enough in their country to learn the language. You say you want to meet village girl but I got news for you, village girls usually dont know english. Even a poor girl is going to want to be taken care of. Another thing girls dont like is men who NEVER come to Ukraine. If you want a girl then the only way is to make the trip. Ive also met many girls who really dont care to move to America. They are fine being your girlfriend if you come often enough. I often left her at my apartment and spent time with Moya. Girls will understand if you tell them a limit if you are a giving person generally. 2 days I had issue with 2 cards getting blocked. When I said I only have a few hundred grivna today it was no big deal. One night Moya even bought us 6 beers for the beach. We don’t refer to it as scamming,,, but rather “tourist traps” instead! We have more shoreline here, than anywhere else in the US,,, and maybe beyond? It’s been called “The Cape Cod of the Midwest”. You are also right in saying no particular way works best for all. Age difference isnt as big a deal as in the US but there are practical implications as the age gets younger, however, your situation is far from problematic at 38-54. In fact it is rather normal in that age group. The problems came when the girl is really young and there is nothing in common and the connection is his money and her body. If there is no commonality or chemistry (which is most of the time)the the length of the relationship will obviously be limited. 19 year old girls and 50 year old men is a recipe for failure. Even 19/40 has a significantly higher probability of success. Of course if marriage isnt your goal and you are good with a 2-3000/mo budget for dating young girls then go for it. Please, maybe you can tell me how women make money from the non pay per letter sites, like fiance? The fact is I always had some agency women lined up before i went. I would meet other women and dated many others on my trips over there, but there was always agency girls to fall back on. Besides that, I only wrote to women who spoke at least a 7 english. No letter fees, no interpreter fees, and a good deal on the apartment. Where did the agency fleece me? Ooh yea, and me, an ugly old man of 55 married a 34 year old woman who had just retired from modeling. Very very attractive woman. She signed a iron clad pre nup. So not all agencies are scams, us "old ugly guys" can marry beautiful younger women, and my wife has dozens of friends who asked her to set her up with a guy like me. A couple appear to be greedy. Most give lousy chat. A couple are nice and very engaging on-line. I find it hard to believe a much older overweight man like me would chat with these girls and not know what is going on. One of them might be setting me up with a more age appropriate lady friend. She was lousy on chat, but very nice. She was a persistent Miss wow girl. I am fortunate in that I will be able to go and hang out a while and eventually relocate. Though MartinPC's images of the Philippines are giving me second thoughts about the Ukraine. Why people go there is a mystery to me. That is the world epicenter of scammers. I always tried to avoid scammers, not follow them to their lairs. You should try smaller cities that aren't the tourist centers away from the beaches. I'm not going to pay a pic of my wife, but lonely has seen a pic of her. It really depends on what type woman you like, tall and fair or normal and darker.
