When I got to Heathrow (not as bad as it's reputation in Canada) I (praplanned and paid) took one of your double deck buses into town... Took over an hour to get out of the damned airport. I got picked up at terminal 4, little did I know it was the FIRST stop, not the last as I suspected... had to go to all the terms, passed the freaking spinning radar array at least 6 times. Anyway, Got off at marble Arch, closest stop to the metropole (6 blocks away with 4 pieces og hand luggage). On my last day I asked front dest if there was a faster route.. 'Yes sir' came the respose. As I braced myself for a star trek episode in the Tube he said 'Two blocks around the corner, Paddington Station has an express train that's cheaper and only takes 20 minutes". I was not impressed.... eh.
