Beemer is trying to say I can't afford going to Ukraine. There was a time when I couldn't. If I was Beemer, it would have been the end of the game. I failed by not going. Beemer with the money, failed by going. The good ones are out of his ballpark.
Among other things, I just won a big insurance court settlement. Money is not the reason I have not gone to Ukraine lately. I will make it there eventually, but on my schedule.
moyarishka I was in Kiev in January of this year and the metro ride was 2 UAH. They may have raised it since then.
According to this page it's still 2UAH

As to $2 hotels. Go to Booking.com. So a search, then sort by price. There are plenty of them that come up at $2. Not that I would stay in one. I was giving Beemer a suggestion because he said the trip is unaffordable to him. I don't think the trip is unaffordable to him, I think it's the dating that would be unaffordable to him.
"TomZ have you ever been to Kiev?" ha ha that's funny. I lived in Kiev. I negotiated an apartment from Ukrainians for only $175 a month. An apartment, not a room.
You see the problem with many of you is that you are using travel agents to book your flight. Don't do that. Book with the airline directly. Go to the airline's site and you will often get a better deal. At least on Aeroflot and Transaero. That is my experience.
I've had that too with hotels. I went to Booking.com and found one price then went to the hotel's site and found an even lower price.
But I was talking in the context that if I was looking this age group would be a little too young for me. Apparently you're too stupid to figure that out.
Apparently, the one you said was hot is not hot enough or you just made it up. Why would you go after another if you have a hot one? Why would you jeopardize your relationship? I go for your making it up. You made a few other stories.
Remember what I said before. Check with the airline directly. Airlines are no longer paying commissions to travel agents so travel agents have to tack commissions on to fares.
