So,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
due to the Crimean War, not only Russia suffered a crushing defeat but also span into a final crisis. Therefore, Russians sold us Alaska for $ 7.2 millions and the rest is history.
Yes, financing wars requires money prompting country's leaders to sell their holdings. Napoleon did it and the Tsarist government did it.
Of course, the Native Americans on this continent also want their "due reward", however, in the current world milieu, nobody is selling anything and nobody is giving "back payments". So they have to look forward to alcohol abuse and poverty lifestyle.
Russia has vast oil reserves, so the loss of Alaska to them was not a big deal. However, the Brits lost out on a big oil reserve region (or actually the Canadians).

You cannot speak for the forum. I can live with people not being bothered by me, if that is true.
If people in the forum are subject to investigation, have their personal information, images, addresses posted and getting cursed, they should know who is capable of that.
"In the Orient young (RAGING)bulls are tested for the fight arena in a certain manner. Each is brought to the ring and allowed to attack a picador who pricks them with a lance. The bravery of each (RAGING)bull is then rated with care according to the number of times he demonstrates his willingness to charge in spite of the sting of the blade."

K-dag,,, Tin tin, has been on here on and off for a long time, and it would appear that the profile “smart martin” “martinsmartshit” “M&M” perhaps “ares” and many others are his as well. For a short time a year or two ago,, someone with a name like “lonelysmartshit” or “lonelyfartsmart” was pestering me too.
Tin tin only has a few things in life to live for,,, blowing smoke up everybody’s ass and pestering martin and I.
I know you sometimes argue with Martin,,, but if you think this is Martin, you’re probably wrong.
I just looked at twenty women on fiance.com. Clicking the "all ages", there are 20 featured women on the front page. Of the 20, 18 are from Ukraine, one from Russia and one from Moldova.
This is a good or a fair summary of the business of fiance.com and FSU dating is all about. From the other page, here is Martin's attitude to their customers, and most people in the forum:
Any commercially successful business is about supply and demand, let's say that fiance.com were to list equal numbers of women from Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgistan, Uzbekistan etc. etc. etc., when some 95% of their clientele are only interested in women from Ukraine then they probably wouldn't last very long in business.
Just read thru the recent threads on this forum, besides the threads that are not particularly relevant to FSU and/or dating pretty much every thread is pertinent to Ukraine and/or the Russia/Ukraine conflict.
Indeed I can only think of one other current forum member who was/is interested in an FSU country other than Ukraine, namely Danny and he spent his money with Elena Petrova's business, fiance.com would be stupid to adjust their business model just for Danny.
I used to work with an American flight crew member 'Fred' who described new year's eve as 'amateur's night', he meant that professional drinkers go out all the year round whilst new year's eve is for the amateur drinkers that only come out perhaps once each year.
So there you have it, FSU stands for 'Former Soviet Union', not 'Former Soviet Ukraine', I remain of the opinion that Ukraine is for the amateurs who don't have the balls, the finances or the will power to venture elsewhere in the FSU whilst there are those that don't even have the finances to, pretty much, step outside their front door yet remain on forums such as this just to nitpick subjects to death!
I would agree with Martin in this sense. Ukraine is probably the easiest country to get to for most. No visa is required for visits up to 90 days for people from most western countries. The same is true for Moldova. Russia and Belarus have a visa requirement and it's not an easy process.
I actually flew a woman from Omsk, Russia to Kiev a few years back because I didn't want to have to get a Russian visa. It actually cost me less to bring her to me rather than me go there. We spent a week together.
Trust me if you want to find a woman from Russia there are plenty of sites for that. Russia might be a country for better pickins because less guys now are going there. Same with some of the other countries Martin mentioned.
I don't necessarily think though that "Ukraine is for amateurs". There are plenty of beautiful women here. You just need to know how to work the field.

There is an elephant in the room. One person has given up on Ukraine and nitpicks at others who have not. The reason would be to have had been the recipient of the mother of all scams.
