Yes man, Lands end is the end of Cornwall, John O Groats the upper tip of Scotland, its about 7oo miles from one to the other by the shortest route I believe, but whatever, it makes some of your smaller states seem HUGE !! ;o))
I had a veRRRRRY funny Time in St P and I wish eveRRRybody to have the same; especially our fRRRiend Crash who's in St P RRRight now ! THX Trad !
I never played the "order girl" game but I'm a Lucky Guy and I will profit about it ! I wish you all to find your perfect match in the next weeks !
P.S. Please have pity of your ladies; it's not because YOU have decided to marry her that everything will come in range ! I still have many difficult months with my Nat only to get her the most accessible pass in the EU !
We talkrd about it and , after three months, I still don't know where we will be married !
Because miles and gallons are "good" and kilometers and litres are "evil" thats why.....:o)........oh, and also because I'm not familiar with them. .. . Just multiply a gallon by 4 ; and a mile by 2 and that should be close enough.
Oh, and Trad, 180cm is not tall, it's long. And 40 miles per gallon does not equate to 8 miles per litre, however it should to some kilometers per litre.
ISO you know, also adhered to in the UK they say, then when Maggie T ruled the land of the unions. Don't believe me? Go buy bolts, you'll get Metric these days :)
Does any one know when those Europeans adopted the metric system? and also why do they drive on the wrong side of the road in some countries. ?Did it have any thing to do with rivalry between France and England?
Not if you go to Decent shop you wont !! I can get AF, BSF, BSC and Whitworth !! and all manner of nuts bolts and washers in the onld Imperial sizes ;o)) 3/8, 5/16, 11/16, my spanner draw at work is a time warp ;o)))
I kind of rounded it off to 4, to average out the difference between a real gallon (imperial) and the counterfeit gallon (US Standard), which is 32oz less.
