Well when I was a boy, not 15 but about 10, a friend told me that everyone was born male. The girls all needed a special operation to become girls. I beleived him! Why am I so awfuly naieve?
My son and I actually have a great relationship - we do converse about all things, including our love lives. He thinks that Lucy, who he calls Lucy Lu, is quite nice - and pretty. I will have to watch him if she comes here. Actually he is one of the lucky boys who has always had the pick of the litter of the females from a young age. The kid is brilliant, handsome, athletic, has a great personality and humble - Just like daer odd Dad! I maen dead old dad! I mean dear old Dad (typos were genuine)!
Well now Tim, I have not had occasion to use a condom in 23 years! Honestly. Why there are 100's of little bald head steveos scattered throughout the Northeast of America!
I'm not sure I would know which end to use. Althouf=gh I have always been intrigued by the varieties offered in the vending machines in the mens rooms. Scented, ribbed, annimal skine, colored etc..
ensata- I think girls prefer the ribbed or bumpy condoms. They are usually marked "For her pleasure". I wouldn't worry about scented ones unless you're making a night of sniffing them. They're going on your banana anyhow. Animal-skin is for your pleasure. (more sensitivity). Colored ones, not important unless you're going to a nude birthday party. Just make sure you get them with good drawstrings so they don't come off during sex. lol
Any of you US guys with bikes, let's get to gether for a ride. I bought myself an '04 Honda GoldWing. Informed my FSU lady and she got concerned about me being a "biker." Had to explain the difference.
Maybe we could make an International Marriage Annual Ride event each summer.
Hey Ditto - I'm in favor of arranging a ride.
My bike is a Honda Shadow - okay its sort of a Harley knock-off but fewer mechanical problems (as in NONE) compared with my Harley riding friends.
Thats what I just bought myself Man :o)
A 550 Virago V twin. has some of the Harley looks, but with the Eastern reliability !!!
"The Japanese have made quite a bit of progress since the war (understatement alert)."
Yeah, they stopped diving planes at your shipping, and improved the reliability of your cars :o))
a friend of mine has a '49 Panhead with a suicide shifter. Runs great from what I see. I think the new harleys are ok, they build them much better now and they come with nice warranties which in my opinion says they are more confident about what they are building, not a big motrcylcle fan myself tho
I just got a Yamaha GP1300. Only problem is that it has no wheels! It flys through the water at 74 mph. More my style I suppose. I would rather be leaping waves and outrunning powerboats that cruising the road, but thats just my opinion
Harley Davidson has come a long way fromthe days whe it was owned by big conglomerate AMF. At that time dealers were know to place pans under bikes on their showroom floors - it wasn't a matter of IF the oil would drip out of the crankcase, but WHEN.
Today a fulldress Harley costs as much as a starter house (in a small town), as much as a fairly decent automobile. And even thought the reliability is improved - there is a LOT of required maitenance, as compared to a foreign bike. You pay a big premium for the Harley name.
Tim - A Yamaha Virago is a great bike - very similar in many ways to mine. There is something to be said about that V Twin style.
Don't ask my why - but if I had had to bet - I would guessed you for a BMW - I can't recall the name of the newer BMW bike I see pictured in various publications - but I would have guessed you would have bought one of those.
There is something to be said for the looks of a big V Twin and even I have to admit that the Japs did a good job because I actually think some of those Jap bikes look better than a Harley. The Harley riders I know say they don't have problems with them anymore. AS Jet says, the AMF days are over. But I've been mad at Harley for a long time now,for over pricing their bikes. I mean what kind of respectable outlaw biker could afford one of those any more?
Some interesting points here.......Harleys for style I agree........Jap for reliability......NO DOUBT......lets not forget the sexy Italian V twin jobbies too.....Aprilia......Ducati..mmmmm...a match for the style thats for certain,reliability....HMMMM.....not yet,but closing the gap.
2 wheel Ferrari anyone?
Tim- I had one of the original 750 Viragos. I started the VOC (Virago Owners Club) here in the US. Moved to an FJ1200 where I really learned to race. Then I got old and sat back in my easy chair (Goldwing). It does have power though- a fuel injected 1800. If the armchair isn't enough, I can put a couch on my trailer and tow it behind.
Guys- I don't care what you ride, so long as you ride it safely. I'll ride with anyone, but I prefer to be in front of the Harleys. The dripping oil makes the road slick.
