From the beginning I felt like it was a russian mail order bride scam, but I am outta work now and bored so I have played along with it. The last letter I got from Ekaterina (kat) she confessed that she is falling in love with me...after about seven letters with pics included in all of them. Each pic getting riskier for showing skin. She toldme that she lived near Magadan in a town called Arman in Russia and works as a hairdresser. She has always given me details on her wifey qualities but avoids any direct questions or direct responses to general conversation. To me this is a scam, I have not heard from her since the "I love you" letter. The pics are interesting...in such a poor country she is able to wear furs and has her nails and hair done in all of them, ok if she does work as a hairdresser that explans the appearance, but all of the pics look professionally done. Well it sounds like Ekaterina was sending you the exact same story I was getting. same pictures the sea of olskom the swim suit her apartment cute girl thow. and she was falling for me too. and now shes comeing to visit so I guess we will see when she shows up! ok with me but after reading your exsperience I dont think shes comeing . maybe shes going to visit both of us. ha ha I guess being a hair dresser pays good in magadan or arman and lets not for get the flowers and her favorite winter flower. I checked evrything she told me could be true but you have the exact same story so I dought it. well their has to be an honest person out their some where. and shes in love with me too. Unfortunatly i think you already know the answer. If you want to hear officially,okay,it's a scam. I fyour still curious and are the type of person that has to have absoute proof of the obvious,just explain to hear your thoughts and ask her to get a local newspaper and like Lee Harvey,have her hold it up in front of her so you can see the date. I have been on the net long enough to know when things are not right. She also told me about the favorite winter flowers, her last relationship (which was a bad one) all of this really adds up to nothing, Kat could be a real Russian woman trying to get the hell out of that country, but to never answer any questions and to keep our "correspondances" (her words) to a general nature is very funny to me for a woman who just said she is falling in love with me, and you, and a few other guys on this message board. I am not sure that this is a scam, but if it's legit it seems funny to me that I never put a profile on the site she claimed to find me at. Her words are always poetic and that of a visionary. To olgenay, from Kats own mouth she told me that Arman is a very poor country...as a hairdresser she makes around $110 dollars a week. Now in Russia that may be a lot of money and the fur coat could have been a propt for the pictures she was taking, my point is that the pictures are high quaility, and she has a lot of them supposedly taken by her co worker Nathasha, when I asked her did she pose professionally I never got a answer, I asked her about kids, she never answered. In fact the only thing she has ever answered was where she saw my profile....on a site I have never been to and never posted. I have road runner and maybe that's how she got a hold of me, She contacted me. She has never asked me for money, a place to live or anything. One of her stories is that she only gets access to a computer for one hour a day at work...so I offered to send her a laptop...she never replied to that. She may have problems with expressing herself but again she contacted me, meaning she was bold enough to do so, and bold enough to tell me she's falling for me. Look I just found this site...the address is www.womenrussia.com/blacklist_summary.htm there are several pictures of Ekatrina (Kat)including the first one she sent me) with at least 40 different names she has used. There are also stories from guys who have received basically the same letters...after about 5 or 7 she falls in love and the scam moves on from there...one guy said he went so far as to call he bluff by saying he has a friend who is an ambassador to Italy and he could get her over here, he never heard back from her then because it did not involve him sending her money. She never asked me for money, I guess she relized I am not working and she can't get anything from me.
