Geriatrix,
Birds of paradise are very popular flowers in California and Hawaii. Although everyone tells me that are very exotic in most other places.
I sent you an e-mail with a photo of them.
Well, I began writting to one of those Miss Wow's (she is still Miss Wow) and I got replies the next day everytime. Most of them were "full of nothing" replies. Only very few questions were answered, and guess what, the answers are at the end of the letter beginning with: PS: bla bla. (which is a strong scam sign). I gave up writing. I am now writing to sincere, honest girls and they are much more beautiful than Miss Wows.

good move my friend, because as you say....answers placed at the beginning or the end of replies usually indicates a cut and paste job,as most of these people have not got the time to formulate a proper reply. That is not to say all the "Miss Wows" are insincere but with letters like that it is best to move elsewhere.
Dale:
I think toad was sending pictures of birds NOT flowers.....still weird tho LOL....:)))
And I thought that 'Bird of Paradise' was a bird.
(native to Papua-New Guinea ?)
(and the "bloody long way from home" was a remark by some soldier when they saw one in the jungle during WW2).
