One thing I will say about the whole issue of priests and the molestation issue. Follow the money trail. I was an Altar boy for many years in my youth and my friends that were have discussed this. Not once were anyone of us approached in a way by any priest that was indecent in any nature or form. But that was also in a day when things were tolerated much less than today. I just wish all child molesters got the same media attention that a priest does. Now they can live in communities in almost anonymity. A priest is labeled for life. I do not defend the actions of priests that do this, I say rid them all if this is the case. For the many thousands of priests that work in a decent ethical manner, they are now living with the stigma of what a few have created. I say we should make child molestation a capital offense. It has been proven over and over that a pedaphile cannot be rehabilitated. Our youth and children are our most precious resource, so to execute a child molester does not cause me any problems with my sleep. Some use religion, so-called morality, fictitious wrongdoings on their partners' part, work related stress...even the weather. It would be so much easier if they were able to recognize and accept their sexuality level so we could match them to create harmony or leave them alone. On the other hand, you have the natural urge for physical chemistry needed to create the sexual spark that ignites our latent sexual drive and desires...but if the individual sex drive ain't there to begin with, you can torch the house down trying and nothing is gonna happen anyway. I play close attention to the signs of potential physical chemistry.
