The results are pretty much the same. Larissa's English has improved dramatically. She is with an english teacher 4 days a week. She has given up her private practice in speech therapy to concentrate heavily this summer on her English skills. She has remarked to me that my Russian hasn't improved as well as her english, which I kindly replied, well my Angel I will just stop working on the house and take courses at UofL for Russian. I think here answer was zadnitsa, which in Russian slang, is rectal orifice. Then she said don't stop working on the house I will have a private tutor in a few months. Then I asked and what will you tutor me in? Depending on if she needs some work books that month. She is concerned with grammar, her spoken English is pretty good, but she has to be exact with her grammar as she tells me. No matter what you do, one does not know before you've met her, and your guess is as good as mine if you two will - two Wolf, it takes two, so whatever you think your percentage/chance will be, halve it. Lucky bugger Crash started his support to her AFTER he met her, not before. Maybe something to think about, but you also mention you two actually DO communictae now, and she's shown she's already learning herself. Reading all the above, and thinking logical I'd say, this will improve, not so? Then reconsider what you want to do - speeding up proceedings (regarding her command of the language!) only, you will be buying time. May I, a non-US guy, remind you that you will have MORE time than you will LIKE, and this is when U2 will like each other? Don't think a single visit will clinch the deal, ask anyone around here. Bottom line is, maybe you're not really in a hurry, not before you've met her. You make her sound a lot more genuine than your first postings indicated, so I'm sure she could understand this. Then also, quitting her current job for a lesser one, you visiting and NOT liking each other... possible, and then? Best of luck, the ball is, and always was, in your court. I told her that I wanted to wait for us to meet before she began taking classes as I did not want her to find a job that allowed her to go to class, but of provided finacially less for her. I explained to her that if she was to change jobs and take a job that provided less for her and needed my assistance to help her out and when we finally met it did not work out then she would be stuck in a job not able to support herself and her little one without my assistance it would not be good for either one of us. Guess what gentlemen, the topic has not come up again and she is still there and has not changed her attitude one bit. I am pretty damn sure I got me a real one here that is not out for a sponsor. She knows I am going to Iraq and it will be awhile before I am able to come and see her.
